Any Casinos or Chains that are Especially Good for "Seeding" Action to Get Cruise Offers?

Okay, so I'm thinking ahead here... I haven't been anywhere "tropical" since 2019, and I am absolutely determined to take a cruise at some point this winter to escape the Canadian cold. I'm tentatively playing around with various itineraries that aren't relevant to the purpose of this thread... though with my upcoming Vegas trip which will be the bulk of my gambling for this year, I figure it may be smart to strategically seed action at certain casinos or certain chains if they are known for being good sources of cruise offers.

As a fairly low-rolling quarter video poker and red-chip tables player, I have no expectations as far as getting any extravagant comps or premium staterooms. To tell you the truth, I'd be plenty happy with even just a modest casino rate.

When I was playing a bit bigger in 2021 and 2022 I feel like I was getting these kinds of offers left and right but wasn't really paying attention to them for a variety of personal reasons. So I figured this could be a good question to throw to VMB.

Alternatively, any "workaround" strategies for leveraging casino play into free/discounted cruises (e.g., offer matching if anybody is still doing that) would be greatly appreciated as well.

Pretty much all Caesars casinos give out NCL cruises at least a few times a year if your play falls in whatever their cut off is.
( Have you seen any from Windsor?)

If you are Platinum or above they offer discounts on NCL.

Though you might find better deals with MSC, I think they may be the cheapest. Haven't sailed with MSC, but have friends that like them enough to sail with them again.

If you have CET diamond or better there might be angles for matching at Ocean casino in Atlantic City. Though useless unless you plan to be in AC.

If you've never sailed Carnival you could try submitting cards you have if any are above standard. I'd go with the highest card you have available.
No idea how low they would match.

My recent Venetian offer included a cruise certificate.

MGM sends me offers that includes cruise certificates as well.

I think they all do honestly. Just have to hit the right amount of play level.

Virgin Voyages allows you to submit casino offers for cruise certificate consideration on their website.

It is worth noting that getting a free cruise certificate will come with hopes that you will gamble (not requirements). If you submit to urcomped or use the Carnival fun match there are actual expectations that you will gamble to earn the comp. That may or may not matter to you.

We live in Vegas and never gamble on our cruises since we have unlimited access to casinos. The certificates have been perfect for us as they come with no requirements to gamble. We are currently scheduled for a free Holland America cruise through a Wynn Platinum benefit. We have received multiple free cruises on Holland America from Boyd Gaming and in previous years (at other casinos) Carnival and Norwegian.

CET may be the easiest casino to get cruise certificates but they're on NCL. MGM gives certificates for Royal Caribbean/Celebrity which is a better line. Some offer MSC or Carnival, easily the lowest level of lines. The best line in the cruise offerings is Virgin Cruises which I believe are from Venetian.

Come and visit AC. Ocean AC is matching Diamond+ up to their Prime level. Prime comes with an MSC cruise and 2 night stay at Wynn.

Venetian provides certificates to Princess Cruises. Took a cruise certificate before all my offers were gone.

I forgot about Boyd! I actually saw a cruise offer in my Boyd Rewards account a few weeks ago, where you had to pick it up in Vegas. I wonder if that’s how they all work, that it’s contingent on a trip to the casino giving you the cruise? I guess that would make sense, just hadn’t really thought about it.

Fortunately the heaviest gambling of my upcoming trip will be at Sam’s Town… so hopefully that will yield some offers on Holland America, which would also be a new cruise line to me!

I believe (at least two years ago) if you were Emerald you automatically qualified for cruises thru Holland. Once they confirmed your status, they sent a list of available cruises.

    Hi NFC,

both M and I got cruise offers via our play at Windsor. Mine were pretty basic but, she got great ones on NCL. I think anyone with a pulse and 1 TC will get something.

NCL isn’t top of the heap but, perfectly fine. We visit Windsor on avg once a year sometimes none and sometimes twice

All great advice upthread, and yes, higher tier gets them automatically, in addition to the cruise offer promos, which require you redeeming for on property.

I have no desire to probably ever cruise again (anyone can read my AK cruise TR in non-Vegas forum), but if I were to, I wouldn’t have an issue with it being on NCL. I’ve heard better things (and also bad) about many of the other lines, but I don’t think any of them are perfect.

I received the 7* cruise info and called NCL for an Alaska cruise this summer. My host retired from Caesars a few years ago and now has a company and is an independent host. I contacted him and got a considerably cheaper total price on a different line than what I got on NCL with 7* voucher. A very different situation as we needed two cabins and we will be expected to gamble on the trip but consider using a host or going directly to the gambling section for the cruise you are interested in . NCL is Casinos at Sea I think.

He works with all the cruise lines. I told him we are interested in a Med cruise next summer. He said pick the route we want and he will work with the cruise gambling section to get me the best price. He also said to call NCL Casinos at Sea directly to get a price using the voucher to see how it compares.

My thoughts are get whatever voucher you can, find the total cost and then contact the same cruise line again and/or a different cruise line to get an offer based on your play. Once again you will be expected to play and if you don't future offers on that cruise line will not be so good which doesn't matter if you are not going to cruise a lot.

    Good luck

Just curious, is this something they sent you or did you have to ask for it?

I’m going to be there next week, so perhaps I could stop in at the host office to see if they might know if I’m in range to get these offers.

Thats exactly how I got started with Princess years ago. (That was after CET and sailing with NCL for many years)
Were highest level at Princess now, and still enjoy it. Weve seen so much more of the world thanks to cruising.
You get to a point that you get so many comp cruise offers directly from them, that you don't need to attend those Casino free voucher pickups anymore.
But hey, its a Great way to get started!
Lots of good suggestions above for the diff cruise lines.

Plaza now lists Carnival Cruise Certificate as a benefit of Silver. I have no idea how this works or what it is valid for, but hitting silver is not that hard, especially since they have 9/6 JoB.
