Feb 5 - 14, we're bringing our daughter & son-in-law to Vegas for their first time and are planning on renting a car. Can't seem to find anything for less than $350. If anyone knows of any deals, let me know. Thanks

Check out renting from an off strip/airport location like Budget on W Trop. They will pick you up and drop you off at your hotel. If you're a Costco member, the prices are very doable compared to the airport. You'll still have to taxi/Uber/Lyft to your hotel

Consider renting for only a week of the 9 days you are there. You could also book and keep an eye on prices and re-book if they drop. The price on my week ranged from a high of near $250 to a low about $150 over the last 6 weeks. Wife got car for week for Air Miles (Taxes & fees only)

I booked my Las Vegas trip in early November. Rental cars were $350 or higher back then. I checked every day, and had a super small window one time and got my car for 14 days for $260 all in. It was the only time I saw the rates low. They have been as high as $550 for the lowest rate.

I just don't think you will get a decent rate.

I've had a lot of success using Priceline and naming my own price...Only downside you pay in advance but since I know for sure I'm always going the saving are well worth it. My last trip out I got a Tahoe for $31 a day for 5 days when all advertised rates were $75 - $100 a day

I second getting a Costco membership. I don't have a Costco in my area but I save hundreds renting cars using their website. I found an intermediate car at the Budget Car Rental on W. Tropicana (across from Orleans casino) for $210.69 and that includes taxes and fees.

I've found Costco to be the cheapest almost every time.

If you an ultimate rewards card with Chase, for example CSR, Freedom, etc, you can sometimes get deals through the car rental portal. Tge price there often is close to the Hertz HLE prices. Hertz HLE is cheap from the EAst and West Sahara locations because you don't pay the extra airport or hotel taxes and surcharges.
