Hi Everyone!

Got a new computer so I registered in under a new name...formerly Vacationgirl.

Just booked a trip for November 3 nights/4 days with America West..leave Sunday the 16th return Wednesday the 19th. Flight plus hotel/NY NY for $340. Not bad I thought.

Last trip was in May and stayed at the Tropicana...great trip. How I managed another trip? Well my Mother-in-Law and Sister-in-Law booked a trip leaving on the 14th...and thought hey....I too need some one on one time with my mother...so I asked her if she wanted to go (like she would refuse...not
My mother and M-I-L get along great and my excuse...my S-I-L needs a drinking partner closer to her age
.

This is my 7th trip in 5 years and have always wanted to stay at NYNY.. Thought the price was right since I could not find the room cheaper than $119/night on any sights. I have previously stayed at Flamingo 2X, Bally's, LV Hilton, Luxor and Tropicana in May.

Some plans so far:

Not to gamble too much at NYNY...everything I've been reading is that they have been pretty tight...if somebody has had some luck there..would like to hear of it.

Also...has anybody seen the show "American Superstars"? Worth it?

Also..I've read about the "Big Elvis show" here on the boards...is that at Barbery Coast? What times of the day does he perform?

Other plans:

Eat the steak dinner at Ellis Island
Go to "The Palms" have not yet seen it or been inside..play their F/P Deuces Wild I read about here on the board
Go to MGM, Mandalay Bay, See the fountain show, See Treasure Island (inside of course)
Thats my list so far...I'm still working on the rest...

Any suggestions for things to do I'd love to hear them.

Big Elvis is at the Barbary Coast and does his show late afternoon like 4 PM. It is worth stopping in and is free. There was an article a few months ago that Big Elvis' mother claimed she had an affair with the real Elvis back in the 60's and Big Elvis is the love child of the King. Close your eyes and listen----it sounds like the King himself. Enjoy!

Yes. Tuesday - Friday • 3pm - 6pm • In the Lounge
Do not miss this great free show. Then pick up the fountains at B. when you leave BC.
