Well, as most of you know, I planned on heading back to Vegas this Friday morning, after a short 3 week absence, with my best buddy ("Cousin") Eddie. We got to talking, and since we got Friday off from work, and we were gonna leave at like 6 am, I thought, "Hey, why not just drive up on Thursday night, instead?"

So, I called the LV Club, they said we could come up and pay just $42 for the room on Thursday night if we wanted. Eddie's all for it, so we'll know by tonight if we can swing it. 3 nights in Vegas instead of just 2. Always a plus!!

Can I tell you I hate you without you taking it personally? ;) I'm SOOOO envious. Just working on my Vegas To Do and packing list now.....Going in a month. 34 days, to be precise.....

How do they say it on SportsCenter-- "Don't hate the Playa, hate the Game!" :D

Ya never know--if this trip is a successful one, we may be back in 34 days ourselves!

I don't know about you folks, but I think I live the perfect distance from Vegas. Phoenix is a four-and-a-half hour drive from Sin City. Close enough to be convenient, far enough to keep me outta trouble

Oh, and by the way, I'm only 5 and a half hours from San Diego, and about 5 hours from Rocky Point. Beaches and Casinos...what else do you need?? (This is why I love St Maarten--Casinos right on the beach!)

Ok, I'm rambling. T minus, uh, hell, I don't know...I'm leaving on Thursday

Thats the way I feel here in San Diego. 4.5 hours away from Vegas (4 if I SPEED,) and like 20 minutes to the beaches...

Can't beat it...

You wouldn't like it in Santa Barbara, we're a full hour farther away from Vegas, and the constant 74 degree weather is really quite boring. Mountains and beach 15 minutes apart? ho-hum... ;)
