Angry Butcher at Sam's Town

Anyone eaten at the Angry Butcher? How was your experience, and any recommendations from the menu?

 

We did look at the menu but decided to go elsewhere (Old Homestead at Caesars) for our "big" dinner last December. We figured that if we were gonna pay steakhouse ala carte prices we would go to one that we knew was good and Angry Butcher was an unknown.

We did try Big Mess BBQ which is where Billy Bob's was. It was good, but I prefer Memphis up on Warm Springs. It was EMPTY the night we were there and all kinds of management types were welcoming the diners and asking how things were and such. It's buried wayyyyy back and I don't remember any conspicuous signage for it in the main casino.

 

We used a comp there. I ordered the chicken over potato hash in pan juices $18. Nothing special. The potato hash was very unhashlike. More like soupy vegetables. A side of sweet potato with bourbon (?) $6ish . It was just mashed sweet potato I couldnt really tell that there was bourbon in it. A glass of house white $6. It was good. And creme brulee $7ish ? Very rich and tasty. The service is great. I was able to get a table with only a 30 minute wait on a saturday night.
I would not want to pay to go there as there are better choices .
