Hi everyone! I am looking for the best experience and best steak possible. Price not being a factor which would you choose and why? If it matters the other restaurants we will be dining at while in Vegas are Scarpetta, Wicked Spoon, Ellis Island and Casa Di Amore.

I've eaten at all 3! I am partial to Hugo's but really any of them are great for a good steak. Both offer Prime cuts.

The reason I like Hugo's are these:

Large New York Prime, 28 day dry aged Strip is excellent.
Salad cart made at table is great
Wine Sommelier always has a bottle of something out back for us!
Manhattan's are huge and come in a chilled bowl and are so big it's really 2 drinks.
It's in a Cellar which is quirky and different
    It's always comped
It's always busy and full of life
It's a slice of old school for the 5% of the time I don't want modern and cool.

A million times this. I consider myself above average in the game of drink and this one surprised and impressed me.

I definitely love the vibe at Hugo's Cellar. It has an old school Vegas ambiance. Steak is good and the salad is made to order at your table.

I've only eaten at Hugo's, twice. Kiwiboy1 is on the money. Some will say Hugo's is overrated (and, truth be told, once my dad's steak was just a wee bit overdone). But the experience is very pleasant, that salad is indeed tasty, and it is fun/odd to surface from the cellar back into the clanging, tacky, flashy casino.

Andiamo's is a chain, for what that's worth. As far as I know Hugo's is one-of-a-kind.

Now, if I'm paying, I'd just visit Ellis Island a few times for the $8.99 steak special, which is 1/4 or less the cost of the fancy places and much more than 1/4 as tasty.

Wow, you guys are really making this an easy decision. I definitely want to stick with places that I can't visit at home. I didn't think about the fact that Andiamo's is a chain. So now I just have to decide between Hugo's or The Steakhouse. Any information between those 2?

I can speak for the Steakhouse at CC. I have been going there since the 80's. It is very good. Can't say the same about the location but once you get past that you will enjoy your meal very much. Price wise its a notch below the high profile strip steak places. They also offer sides with their steaks while most other places do a la carte.

Andiamo is excellent. I think it's a bit of a stretch to label it as a chain. I think they have one other location in Detroit. Hands down, the best food, service, and atmosphere of any place I've dined in Las Vegas, and probably anywhere else.
