Just registered (for the even better 6000 MR points for a $300 purchase on a point-earning card).

    Thanks so much for sharing!

:grrr: This is killing me. I had used this offer in the past but the last two times I’ve missed it by a few days. I’m arriving 4/30 and it ends 4/22.

Haha, how long is your trip? The most recent offer expired on 1/7.

Only good for hotel stay? Or will it work for show tickets?

It’s only 4 days so screwed again. My last trip was in Sept and I think the last one started in October. First time I used it I had to buy a few things at the gift shop the morning I left since my bill wasn’t $300 so maybe it will save me a few bucks. However they lowered my F&B this time so of course I’ll probably buy an upgrade and be way over. Luck isn’t on my side already. Guess I’ll have to win $60

So I should be good in this for a trip already booked? Or do I have to book after enrolling?

You will be fine. Just remember to use your enrolled Amex card at check on.

I just paid my Amex bill and saw this offer. I booked this trip with a different card. If I pay with this card at check out, do you think it will work? If I charge a few dinners I might hit the minimum of $300. Hmm...

It only matters what is charged, they can’t see what card you used to guarantee. As long as you have the offer and use the card at checkout you are golden. Just check your receipt. Many clerks don’t pay attention and charge the card on file, not what you hand them at checkout.

Thank you for this - heading out tonight and was going to charge to another card that rewards hotels at a higher point value, but $60 is an easy win!

Don't forget to load the offer via the amex website before paying at checkout too.

For some reason, I never get this offer on my AMEX card. Maybe they know I'm a Vegas fanatic and don't want to give it to me...

Keep in mind that you can split your bill and pay with several cards.

When we get this offer I ask that they charge $300 to my American Express then use my Chase Ink Card for the balance. The Chase ink is eligible for Visa SavingsEdge business program and you can get an additional 4% cashback.

Also if you have authorized users on your account you may be able to get the offer on each card. Then you could charge $300 to one card and $300 to the authorized user. This go around we have the offer on both my and my husbands cards.
