..wow, it's July and no ice machines!!!!...something we hadn't thought of, but I assume there's no way you can monitor whose hands have been all over the machines before you step up and use it. wonder if this is now standard everywhere, or just Boyd?
    also, my congratulations, nice summary.

When I stayed at the Fremont in June, I was able to use the ice machine.

Congrats for winning some money. And thanks for giving us the trip report.

MG, did you eat at the market st café? Do you know if they allowed take out meals at all hours?

Did you ever feel afraid of catching something at the Cal? Or did you use hand sanitizer everywhere you went? Sounds like they don't test gamblers. surprising that they test people checking into the hotel but not people entering the property.

How was the parking structure? Did you have a problem finding an open parking space? And did you have to press the button to get a ticket or were the gates always up?

Do you know if the exercise room was open? Guess it is probably like the pool, maybe closed for now.

    Makikboy..
Everyone was temp. tested coming into the building, at every entrance.

The Cal Cafe, is only open limited hours, 4pm to 1am, on SOME weekdays, with a limited paper menu. You could order takeout. Now, this may change for the upcoming holiday.
Aloha Spec was open 8am to 8pm. I had breakfast here on Tuesday am.

I had a face mask on ALL THE TIME, other than in my room or while eating.
I also carried Sanitizer and wipes.

Good to know they were testing everyone.

Thanks for the info! I'm still waiting until they have $5 tables, lol.

Only joking, they are still trying to figure out how to handle the virus. Anyone staying away from the islands more than 3 days needs to take a virus test before they can fly back to Hawaii. I heard that vacations Hawaii is trying to contract with a company to test all their charter guests to make it easier to go to vegas and come back home.

you must have really played hard on that 11x day, those points seem incredible.
Can anyone calculate what coin in that would take without a multiplier?

You seem well on track to hit Emerald, I half expect (but wouldn't bet on), Boyd doing a late year point bonus for closure time and to get people closer to next tier striking distance..

Re: Ice. It could have been down the end of the hall, but the plastic ice bucket was not in the room, as usual.
I never was in the room long enough for the need for ice anyways.

As I think I stated, the room across me me, had a metal bucket outside their door.

Oh, and yes, I am wondering how much actual coin-in I did.
Monday afternoon to early evening, I know, for a fact, that I went through $1000.
It was only until after midnight, that I played some idiots game, and I recovered, most of it. Whew!
