She usually gets a nice tip without ‘falling over” — save the snide for the Bellagio servers — oh, wait, you haven’t reviewed that buffet yet .

Just wanted to give one quick follow-up. On one of my layovers, I checked my email and NYNY had sent one of those "tell us about your stay surveys," and I filled it out honestly, telling the. About the "view" and the problem with the slots. By the time I had landed, there was an email waiting for me apologizing for the problems and saying that they would refund one day's worth of resort fees (about $40). I certainly did not expect this, but it softened my overall opinion of MGM after this trip.

The trip home was otherwise uneventful.mi had a great time in Vegas but I'm glad to be home.

It's annoying, but complaining about any reasonable room failure is a good way to make resort fees disappear. We had hell at Flamingo last trip finding a suitable room (air conditioning issues). If my Resort fees weren't waived already that trip, you damn better believe they would have been after all that.

We had key problems with the parking deck while at the Mirage in December. Had to get keys replaced 2 times. Also had to change room once because of plumbing issues. Resort fees promptly removed at check out. MGM uses this to help “soften the blow” when people have issues.

Make resort fees disappear or get some food credits. Either one is a win!

Just stayed at the Flamingo. One of the days housekeeping did not make up our room. Went downstairs, complained, and the resort fee was waived. That is exactly what they do, just waive the resort fee. Hey, fine with me!!
