    Thanks for the report

    My records consist of

"Does wallet have cash?" Yes. OK. Don't tell the spouse any details, just say the trip was fun.

"Does wallet not have cash?" Nope. Oops. Better not tell the spouse. Don't tell the spouse any details, just say the trip was fun.

So, you stayed on the north end and I consider GVR to be on the south end, although I think it is actually SE end. All I know is it was a long haul to get to GVR when I visited them.

Thanx for Trip Report. Limos are very cost effective to the outer off strip casinos.

    Great report.
Where are the full pay Deuces machines located in Aliante Station? Are there any other Full Pay Deuces machines left anywhere else besides the 3 casinos you mentioned?

You can go to the following web site and see what video poker machines are available at the various casinos in Las Vegas.

    www.vpfree2.com/casinos/by-region/las-vegas.html

If you then select the casino name on the left, you will be shown the different types of video poker available along with links on the right (listings) which show the locations on the casino floor.

Wow. That is discipline. Congrats on the winning trip. We were at Aliante shortly after they opened. It's a pretty nice place but waaay out there. Nice TR.

The Optimum machines (that include FPDW) at Aliante are scattered all around the casino. One row of them is right in front of the rewards center, in the non-smoking area, if that's important to you.

As far as I've been able to determine, none of the casino's offer FPDW at higher levels. They know it's not a winning game for the casino so it's more than likely just used to get a person in the door and then play a different game or pay table when they want higher denominations.

Cruiser - Being a fellow (primarily) VP player I always enjoy your TR's. I usually play BP and some DDB but your pre-trip postings made me decide to start learning FPDW on my Winpoker.....it is a great game, thanks:nworthy:

Thanks for the website. That's a great resource! I'll be consulting that while on my next trip in Dec. Deuces Wild is my favorite poker game but don't play much (except on my computer) because of the pay tables. I'm looking forward to searching out these machines!

If I have time before our next trip to Las Vegas in 2011, I'm hoping to study up on Double Bonus (DB) and Double Double Bonus (DDB) as backup plans for playing Full Pay Deuces Wild (FPDW). After Sunset Station removed the FPDW machines, I realized we can't assume our FPDW machines will forever remain in Las Vegas. Having a backup plan is always a good idea.

    Nice report !
I've been playing 9/6 JOB at MSS Boar Bar --
and 8/5 JOB ( and Dueces Wild ) at Stratosphere 's sports bar.
--- my last couple of trips.
My VP notes show me I usually play 4 hrs per day
on my daily gambling budget.....or I stop when I'm up to a certain total.
I play quarter level Max. per hand.
I think I lasted 5 hrs one day.......but my eyeballs were
    spinning by that time !!!
Plus, I get the "VP left shoulder cramp"....I lean on it TOO MUCH !:evillaugh
I don't know how you + wifey you play SO LONG !!!??????:nworthy:
    .
I cancelled our Aliante resv's at the last minute -- last trip.
We got "free" elsewhere and thought Aliante was just too far away ?
But....I'd like to try it sometime, again.
I can't believe they wouldn't comp you ?:grrr:
    That ain't right.:Þ
