Over the years, I have discovered that my spiritual condition is even more important than my physical and mental well being. If I have that, the other two components seem to improve on their own. At least, that's been my experience.

The whole thing never happened for me. No marriage, no kids.

    By age 55 --- I thought I would NEVER have kids ---
and I was "okay" with that.
My wife ( much younger ) stepped up her "diabolical" plan !!!

Not so much an age thing, but it seems that as a woman I am "supposed" to be maternal, love kids, want to babysit etc. I just don't have that gene I guess. Don't have kids, don't particularly like them EXCEPT for the ones I am related to or who belong to close friends. I do love them a lot, but honestly enjoy their company a lot more once they get old enough to converse with and generally just settle the hell down. I like life somewhat calm and orderly and young kids can be noisy and chaotic, so it's not a great match.

However, once our nieces and nephews turn 21, we do take them to Vegas for their first time, so I make up all my cool Aunt points in spades (pun intended) then.
