Went back and forth with book a package vs book direct, CET vs MLife, Off strip vs DT, finally got a case of the fuckits as I was watching Burt Wonderstone when it hit me: "Hey, I haven't stayed at the Bellagio since 1999.." Booked direct American Airlines, strip view room. Looking forward to it. Haven't stayed a full week out there since 2007. Hopefully it's as glorious as it was when Steve Wynn owned it.

Staying at the Bellagio can never be considered a bad choice.

I love so many of the Strip hotels, but so far, Bellagio remains my favorite.

    Have a wonderful trip!

Tell more about Bellagio - what things do you all like, special places? I've always wanted to stay there and as you can see from countdown, I finally am going to!

It is one place we would love to stay some time. If MGM would loosen up the reward points for their Detroit property we would stay there and in Detroit once in a while but it is such a tough comp in Detroit that we don't even try it. Bellagio is a great choice and have fun.............Rick

My first time to Vegas 2 years ago we stayed at the Bellagio, fountain view room. It was quite spectacular! However, all of the shops, restaurants etc were a little too fancy pants for our style. We are heading to Vegas in June and selected NYNY this time.

I like to hang there some but it holds more mystique to me when I don't stay there. I've stayed there before a few times and it was OK but not my vibe. I like the mid-range places a bit more, like MGM/PH and CP. Staying at the Wynn/Venetian/Bellagio just don't interest me much. I like modern luxury more than Renaissance luxury.
