Ya those donters....not a fan of them. I just keep rolling and hoping my # comes up which at times it does. Last trip in the fall while playing at Cosmo one night a reg donter i was told, was right next to me. I got my # i think once while he was there and showed him lol.
Nice report! And boo drink tickets. This is the first I've seen anyone show them. Any info on timing coin-in rate of the tickets?
nothing exact, but they seemed to spit out pretty rapidly, and I was probably playing $2.50 VP and even some $1 Keno at a point. I think they did come much slower if on a .25 machine, did not come out of slots on the floor. I think its something specific to those VP machines facing the Sports book on the 2nd floor, by Overhang bar. IIRC, they are changeable denom, but 50 cent min VP. They expire in 24 hrs, usually I would just hop on a bartop machine to get a drink instead of using them. No sweat about needing a ticket. Yet. ..the fine print verbiage did have something ominous about being valid w. cocktail waitresees.
Final Score: AD: 2 This protruding past the mattress solid AF wood corner: 10+ The chair position didn't help, all the furniture was heavy and hard to move, but that was perfect position to watch pool screens, and any further back, you'd clock your head on the giant TV above. Also, it wasn't even summer hot, but I think midday sun through the giant windows beat out whatever the AC was trying to do... got hot.. and poundy bassy as mentioned earlier. *I believe five hundy by midnight podcast recently posited that anything in the path from bed to bathroom should be padded. oh man, no joke I caught some good family guy moments...
Oh, that reminds me, there may be a Golden Gatian motion sensor on the thermostat, because we had some temperature control issues. Going to auto setting instead of on seemed to help some. It could have been mid day sun coming through the giant windows overpowered the a/c. But I'm going to go with thermostat near A/C air vent doesn't control temp at bed by big sunny window for 500.
which also reminds me we heard the strangest chiming alarm, kind of like a loud forgotten snooze alarm, could not tell whether it was coming from inside or outside, poked my head out the door and saw 3 Circa staff right outside, saying it was an alarm in the room next door, I told them to let me know if it was time to start running, and went back to bed. +1 for the most pleasant and unobtrusive fire alarm sound I've ever heard.. (I'm assuming that was what it was...) Seemed like they were being very respectful and not trying to barge right in, and I didn't die in a fire, so yay!.
some randomly inspired songs.. always warming up for the next, queueing up a Quentin Tarintino style entrance next trip:
Was trying to get some keno action in my repertoire. A nice brainless break esp if watching something on the giant screen.
I don’t think I’ve seen the entire video for “Tennessee” before - bracing, which is needed from time to time...
I don't think that ending aired on MTV, it was so shocking to me I almost deleted that post,... I was just feeling the going back to where you're from vibes.... and the title sprung to mind from a TN'er report. Oh, and the "Grandma passed" line.. TIL and the song dropped in 1992. LA 1992 was a little hot. and it won the best song Grammy in 1993. and it had a Prince sample.
