Has anyone had success using ACG Station Buffet BOGOs (or any others in the book that don't explicitly permit it) as 50% off a single buffet when traveling solo? Most of the LVA coupons allow this, but the ACGs don't say so. I'm wondering if most of the buffets just treat them the same anyway.

Interesting. Since I wasn't getting many/any responses, I called GVR and Sunset Station buffets this morning and both confirmed you could get 50% off one buffet with the ACG bogo coupon. I assumed this must be a Staions Casinos-wide policy, but if you've been turned down at Red Rock, that must not be the case.

Out of curiosity I just called Red Rock and spoke with the buffet manager, and he said you can use the bogo as a 50% off for one. So apparently it just depends on who you ask, and if you get an answer you don't like, just ask to speak with someone else. :)

    So I should have insisted?

I had both the ACG and the LVA, but only had the ACG coupon with me.

No big issue, of course, just paid the full price.

btw it was end of january

Most BOGO places are pretty specific on that being the only option, or else they would have written in 50% off to begin with. I don't bother them with it.

it is true, you can get different answers from different people. the control freak will say no. sometimes it is a training issue. it never hurts to ask, if they say no, I turn and walk away. I won't argue or beg.
