I just came back from a three-day weekend at Caesars Atlantic City. My luck was in the first day of the trip I had two hand pays. Unfortunately I didn’t see any Royals in front of me. Though, the guy next to me sat down at the machine I was playing a half hour before he sat down drew a $4K Royal couple minutes into his play.

    I played mostly 3-Play $1 DDB. I played some 5-Play and $1 and $2 single line DDB.

I switched back and forth between $2 and $1 single line. I include at hand that shows a win of $100 for a quad 10’s. I got down to $5 and instead of shoving in another $100 I decide to play out the rest of my cash and I refurbish my cash and built it up another 15 minutes of play.

The theme was lots of hits of $800 Aces. There a two more I didn’t stop to snap a picture because I didn’t want to break the pace of play.

Getting an extra ace with the kicker on 2 out of 3 hands while holding 3 aces...very very nice! I seem to always struggle to even hit the 4th ace whenever I hold 3. I always have better luck when holding 1 or 2. Congrats on the wins.

@oghuman, thanks for the write up and those lovely 4 aces with a kicker. Are these machines on the first floor, kind of towards the street?

On a side note, I was playing $.25 max coin Bonus Poker recently at Harrah’s Eden bar, the bartender made me a great Godfather with Dewars and Amoretto DiSaronna. I then realized that the machine was set to 6/5.

Also, I wondered if the snow north and west of AC kept some folks from traveling down, were the crowds sparse?

I only play in the non-smoking area, if you know where that is. I don't like to say because I don't need anymore competition to get $1multi-play machines there only three I like to play. but they're also used by .25 and .50 players.
Though there are multiple other .25 machines,
The single play $1/$2/$5 9/6 DDB are more plentiful.
I don't play at the bar, I might drink too much. When I drink too much, I miss hitting the buttons correctly.

Agreed, my bartender that night was about to make me an offer I couldn't refuse, but my wife's call saved me from a second Godfather.
