Thanks. I'll add it in. What's the deal with casino bars fucking over deuces though? That paytable is the worst of the list at 95.96%. Looking at the rest of the lineup, I would have expected them to offer either 20/12/10/4/4/3 (97.58%) or 25/16/13/4/3/2 (96.77%).

Unless I made a mistake I don't know? Maybe ploppies play deuces more so they squeeze it?

I like the 9/5 jacks. If they comped the menu I'd go there for dinner and play some vp.

Ploppies probably play Jacks and deuces the most. Also harder to recognize a good deuces game. CET definitely gouges both games. Hell 6/5 Jacks is even redundant at CET...lol

Good point @tringlomane .... I keep NSUD paytable in my phone for reference when I'm playing. At least I can do a quick comparison.

I've used VP for Winners for years. Neat thing is I can print out strategy cards for each game and paytable...in color. Reduce it down to playing card size. Laminate, and I'm good to go.

    @tringlomane,

Looks like there were some downgrades that recently took place at the High Limit Bar in Luxor (according to vpfree2)

I was just checking it out as I planned on playing there tomorrow, bummer.

Damn that's a shame. I'm in Vegas now, I'll try to take a look if I get the time. Thanks for the update.

I'm sure you'd rather have tringlomane's confirmation but FWIW I agree with the information in vpfree2 for the Luxor High Limit Bar. It's what I saw today. http://www.vpfree2.com/casino/luxor

Ugh, that is a bummer. Luxor high limit bar was my go to spot for VP.

Thanks for double checking. I was running around like a chicken this trip pretty badly and never made it. I got to Mandalay Bay since we had pool access via Monte Carlo and I was surprised they didn't downgrade at Mizuya since my last visit (~2 years ago). 12/9 Deuces (97.06%) is still the best quarter bartop game.

Darn, I just got a host there on my last trip. I do more than half my gambling JoB VP, so I likewise won't be going there anymore.

This entire thread is a fantastic resource. Thanks Tring and everyone who has contributed.

I have a random question that I thought this group might know the answer to --- do most of the casino VP bars (non-sports book) get the NFL Sunday ticket? In years past, I've always hung out at Westgate's theater for Football Sunday. This year I think I'd rather be playing VP, but only if I can also be watching the Steelers game. Particularly interested in Boar's Head Bar, Chicago Brewing (4Qs), and Vue Bar @ the D --- but open to any suggestions (Downtown or Off-Strip) to spend a Sunday with VP and Football?

All three of these places are among my favorite DT VP bars. D and 4Qs has NFL Sunday Ticket. MSS/Boar's Head does not.

Note that Chicago Brewing will play the Bears game with audio on the leftmost TV if it's on. You can ask for any game on one of the other 2 TVs.

@tringlomane I think you may have sad it before in one of our discussions but I couldn't find it. Do you know the best game/paytable at TAG in The Linq as of current? I think before you said it was Triple Bonus Plus but I may be wrong. I plan to hopefully watch a game there in my upcoming trip and want to play the game with the best table.

I actually think I just found you answered the question on page 19... sorry about that!

Yes, for the single line Game Kings, it's 7/5 Triple Bonus Plus.

    Full strategy is here:
    7/5 Triple Bonus Plus Strategy

Roughly it's similar to DDB, but here are some of the bigger exceptions.

Break 2s-4s full as well as Aces. This also applies to crap 7/5 DDB games.

Break a straight or flush with 4 to an open-ended straight flush.

KQJ and QJT suited is better than KK-JJ.

3 to a straight flush with no high cards and one gap is better than all 2 to royal but KJ and QJ suited.

Here's what a pic of the paytable looks like. Hope you can hit one of these! ;)

@tringlomane I really appreciate you writing it up again and the strategy tips. Can't say I've ever played Triple Bonus Plus so I was going to have to read up on it to make sure I'm not giving away that extra percent by playing it wrong, lol.

I think that link is broken as well. Tried to read up and it didn't work.
