    Love your reporting, as usual.

The food at Lakeside looks divine! Your pictures of the food and the behind the scenes of the Lake of Dreams are making me rethink my Delmonico dinner reservation this week!

*goes to check Wynn website for Lakeside table reservations* :feedme:

What a hit! Congrats! Have a feeling you'll be playing more of this!

The 8X quad from nothing caught my eye! That doesn't happen too often!

When I grow up, I hope my Vegas trips end up like yours. For now, though, I'll be happy as an occasional free room very-low-roller and live vicariously through your trip reports.

Perhaps at some point we'll both be in AC at the same time!

Fertilizer pump room. You just can't make that $hit up. Or apparently you can. Awesome behind the scenes pics!

It was though it was a crab, coconut and curry soup that also contained cilantro. The crab was prepared and placed in the middle and then the soup poured over it. It was an unusual combination of flavors but delicious.

    Good morning Las Vegas!

Typing from the tub again, this time soaking in a different Mike's Therapy bath salt. This is one is called REST.

No, I have no financial interest but just love the product and that it is a Vegas-based company that I believe is going to do well with a special product that does help (and also makes my suite smell fabulous) so it just feels especially nice to use it here as well as now at home. I just need to determine the best way for me to purchase it in NYC, rather than buy a lot here and take it home with me as bath salts are heavy. I do want to stop by the shop though, which I believe is in downtown Vegas.

This morning I had wanted to dine at this new restaurant off strip called Good Morning Kitchen and Cocktail Bar but even though the owner has been posting these amazing dishes and cocktails on Instagram it is still not yet open. Argh. And it is a 15 minute drive from the strip so it is not, relatively speaking, a quick ride but it sounds 1000000% like my kind of place so fingers crossed that maybe it opens this weekend and I can experience before I depart to head back to reality a week from tomorrow.

My back up was Jardin but I cancelled my reservation as I am moving too slowly this morning so instead this is my breakfast in the tub.

Part of breakfast is now my favorite dessert in all of Vegas (the Lakeside pineapple upside down cake that is even better than my mother's) and a mozzarella stick from the V/P bingo session. :) With this sweet/carb laden dessert I needed some protein to go with it. :) But it is so rich that I am good with two forks of it and still have a huge piece left that I can enjoy over the next couple of days. It's cake and @dbueler and I agree it is best to keep sealed tightly in the container but at room temperature and not in the refrigerator. It may look a little mushy and yucky but that goodness is butta, brown sugar, pineapple goodness. OMG.

And speaking of REST, I feel am going to disappoint some of you but yesterday morning I cancelled my Zion trip, which was supposed to have been tomorrow to Thursday afternoon. During my shower yesterday morning part of me very much wanted to go for all of the reasons one can imagine but even though I got a great night's sleep Sunday night (and again last night) a combination of Vegas run down (not good) but also serious relaxation mode (very good) has kicked in and the most strenuous thing I feel like doing before heading back out to Death Valley a week from today is driving to some place local or walking down the strip to check out the sites.

With my mom being with me Zion is probably out for my late June/July trip and if I come back out for my birthday in August that trip will be unusually short for me so I will be in Vegas the entire time. I DO have limited vacation time lol, so June/July is my last long vacation until near the end of the year but if I wind up being in between jobs (by choice) in October/November, then another long trip, definitely including Zion and maybe even Bryce again, will be in the cards. And with a potential new job, long trips anywhere after a between job break will be a no go for some time. So I am toasting myself to what I hope will be an amazing final week to this trip and an even better one with my mother in a couple of months, especially as twice in 2020, unrelated to Covid, I didn't think she would make it. But, thank God she did (I thank the Lord EVERY day) and, I kid you not, SHE IS FULLY AND COMPLETELY PACKED FOR OUR TRIP THAT COMMENCES JUNE 25TH. I showed the picture of the packed suitcases yesterday to the Wynn concierge, who put me on the waitlist for the floral design Master Class this Thursday that I can now make, and though she is so refined she laughed out loud in a lovely way. I think she is still smiling and has such a sense of pride at how much both my mother and I just love this place, even when the Gambling Gods are kicking my A$$.

Nooooooooooooooo! Seriously, its good to know limitations. Hopefully you will find a time for that trip late this year or next. I will be at the Wynn for a short weekend trip at the end of June. I can show you and your mom some closer by, fantastic natural areas if you all are up for it! If not, you all can just watch me degen in the HL room lol.

Enjoy your realxation before more DV!

Thank you UK. Actually, I felt I was going to be disappointing you most but Vegas as they say is about doing what you want to do when you want to do it so I forgave myself for nixing this time.

And I would love the suggestions for places close by. We are heading to DV with the guide, staying mostly in the car, but God bless him, he said he will push my mother in a wheelchair up the paved walkway at Zabriskie Point so she can get out of the car and see the area and he will take some pics of us there. This was his suggestion! The rest of the tour will be solely in the car to places like Artist Palette, not getting out of the car until dinner and then in some portable chairs while we stargaze at night for a couple of hours before heading back go Las Vegas.

And I definitely want to do the Red Rock canyon drive with her. She loves nature -- she grew up in West Virginia -- so any and all suggestions appreciated!
