Another amazing trip! I won’t be in Vegas for a while so I really appreciate your vivid reports to get me through and they help with the planning!

I think many of us have gone on some freeplay detours that turn into those head scratcher moments.

The Overlook Lounge looks great! I can’t wait to visit.

I heard that the Cleo drink is the next Verbena. Since you said earlier in the report that the same person oversaw both cocktail menus, I'm inclined to try it! Honestly though, all of the drinks looks good. That class must have been AMAZING!

Thank you so much for taking us along on another wonderful TR! I hope you had a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY, there is no better way than to celebrate in Vegas!

Was running errands in midtown Manhattan a few hours ago. Took these pics. Off topic but just wanted to share.

Heading to AC tomorrow night for the first time since March. Will be working remotely during the day and low rolling in the evening. I just got back from Vegas of course but I look forward to a chill long weekend in AC.

I have a bus ride tomorrow so I will finish my report en route to AC.

Lol. Not too personal at all. TMI but I hate my bunions. It is what it is.

I pray that I continue to age like my mother. She is 89 and has white hair but barely any wrinkles. (Insert praying hands here. :))

Last Saturday, during the fight, my phone was losing juice so I don't think I posted the pics below.

Bottom line is that it was an exhilarating experience. Even though Ugas was the defending champion the crowd, and I believe the sports book odds, were in favor of Pacquiao, in part because he had been training for this fight for months whereas Ugas had less than two weeks' notice th ae t he would be fighting because Spence had to drop out due to a retinal tear in his eye. The boxing commission would not let him fight.

I was privately rooting for Ugas. I should have placed a bet!

If you have never attended a boxing match at this level but have seen any of the Rocky movies, the drama and the electricity in the scenes in those movies is literally what it was like as Pacquiao and Ugas entered the arena and boxed. At the beginning of Round 12, the final round, it was tense as most folks I believe felt that it was close and this was it.

In the third pic below, I coincidentally got the pic right as Ugas hit Pacquiao and caused him to falter. That was one of the earlier rounds. The audience, which was mostly Pacquaio fans, gasped.

The decision that Ugas won was a unanimous one. Pacquiao, however, is clearlay beloved by many and is admired by Ugas.

So, I have a lot of my trip I still want to share that I didn't have a chance to post earlier. I will try and fill in the gaps mostly consecutively.

One set of pics I didn't post early on (as I had fallen asleep on the plane) was of my amazing dining experience ON MY FLIGHT to Vegas in my Jet Blue MINT pod. The pod was spacious and there was a new and amazing amenity kit with new products, so nice that I didn't even use them -- except for the eye mask and the super soft and durable socks -- and instead have them with me now as I am riding the bus to AC for the weekend. I figured I would try them out this weekend.

You may recall from early in my report that the MINT pod is spacious. It is, easily twice the size of the Delta One pod. But it is also extremely comfortable, with a nicely padded seat and lots of various controls for different types or lighting and for different types of massages in the seat . . .

You can also see from my earlier photo that I had a nice blanket -- so nice that I always want to pack them and take them with me :) -- and pillow.

    Pics of my meal.
    20210818_231224.jpg 20210818_231232.jpg 20210818_234729.jpg 20210818_234757.jpg 20210818_234852.jpg 20210818_234855.jpg 20210818_234857.jpg 20210818_234901.jpg 20210819_002047.jpg 20210819_004009.jpg

And yeah, I brought that brass dish, Maldon salt, chili oil and olive oil all the way back to NYC. I now have three of those dishes. :)

The service was excellent and attentive throughout, including the FA actually loving the idea that I wanted to do a wine tasting and try a couple of ounces of all five wines listed on the menu except one. My Old Fashioned hit the spot. Loved the kind of maple flavor that was in it.

The comfy and very soft socks, which wash well. I have a few pair now and I wear them in the normal course.

And the "to go" snack as we were nearing landing -- it varies and has been different MILK cookies in the past -- were these amazing dark chocolate covered cashews. I had had those before as well and knew they were quality. I brought those all the way back to NYC as well and enjoyed them a couple of nights ago.

Fuzzy pics from the plane and the sign we have seen many times but none of these views IMO ever get old.

That Mint service always looks amazing! I flew FC on American last week (to NYC as it happens :D) and all we got was a pass of the snacks basket. :( (well ok there *were free drinks:))

Thanks for another wonderful trip report, your pix and details are always so enjoyable to read. :nworthy:

In stark contrast, you will recall my Delta One pod. The seat was hard with minimal cushion. I could never really go into a deep sleep though I crashed hard for a while on the MINT flight to Vegas because the set was that comfy, I had a great pillow and blankie :), and had had a three course meal with a cocktail and tastes of four different wines.

Thank goodness I wore a sweater on the plane, as I do get chilly, because there were no pillows or blankets in Delta One. The guy behind me had on shorts and a t shirt and asked the FA for a blanket. The FA said they had none . . . and that they usually have them on flights to LA but they don't know if or when they will get them on flights to Las Vegas . . . .

The seat was hard and narrow and with no pillow my body literally ached when I got up to get off the plane.

Also, no amenity kit was given out though I did find this amenity kit, apparently from another flight, behind the seat. That doesn't bode well for rbe cleaning as it was hard to miss.

It was unopened so I did take :), more out of curiously to see what it contained. I do like the Tumi bag but I guess no amenity kits for these DO flights even when the tickets can cost as much as $1800+. :wink2: Thank goodness I paid for my flight with 75,000 miles.
    20210824_112207.jpg 20210824_112232.jpg

    The meal? Another snack box.
    20210823_231230.jpg

I asked if Delta started serving meals again and the flight attendant told me yes, but for flights after a certain time -- I was told either 8 or 10 pm -- it was just a snack box.

My Jet Blue flight was scheduled to depart at 9:59 pm and you see what that service was like!
