Some of the marketing people at CET really makes me scratch my head.

Back in mid-July I asked a CET marketing executive if it was possible for me to switch hosts in LV because the one I was assigned had poor communication skills and screwed up a couple of reservations. Based on a referral from a friend, I asked to be reassigned to another host. The Executive apologized and with the snap of a finger, I had a new host!

This new host surprised me during my last trip with a meet and greet with Jennifer Lopez after a concert in late July. That was really cool of him and made my GF really really happy.

This past week, I emailed my new host to book my 7* trip for December, he responds "ok" but it will take about a week because Passport is backed up. 3 days later, because my plans changed, I sent him a follow up email asking him to change my itinerary because I am coming back in November instead of December.

He responds that he's still waiting to hear back from Passport. Then he writes "Just FYI, XX XX is still your assigned host in Las Vegas". When I asked him why I was never switched, the new host says "Didn't happen. Just letting you know." :bang:

I've emailed the Executive and am currently waiting a response. This just frustrates the heck out of me. If it wasn't for the free airfare I would move all my play to Cosmo or Bellagio.

I was told that after a Host books your trip 3 times they become your Host so just keep using the new person, eventually they should switch you over.

I've heard that as well, but here, I had an executive confirm to me by email that the change was in place, with the new host cc'ed in that same email. You would think that the process would be as simple as that.

Yeah, at least any reasonable person would!

I had similar drama switching but finally did and my new host didn't have to book three trips. I would send an email to the original executive who had previously confirmed the switch.

I sent an email as soon as I learned of the snafu last night but no response yet from the executive.
