I've never taken advantage of Caesars Rewards free monthly show tickets for Diamond members, but I have a Vegas trip coming up in a couple of weeks and have a question. Can monthly show tickets acquired in May (specifically, May 31st) be used for a show in June, or does the show have to be in the same month in which the offer is redeemed?

I'll be arriving in Vegas on Friday the 31st, so I was wondering if on May 31st I could redeem my May offer for two tickets for a show a couple of days down the road (June 2nd or 3rd), then turn around and pick up two more tickets for the same show and date the following day on June 1st when my June offer kicks in. In other words, I'm curious if I can bookend the two offers to essentially acquire 4 tickets to the same show.

Thanks to anyone who might be able to answer my questions!

Afaik, you can. But I never had the opportunity to personally do it.

No you cannot. I tried this exact same thing and i double checked with a host and the box office, so I am sure of the answer. However, you can get 2 new tickets for June. In fact, since you are there on June 1st, all the shows and best diamond seats will be open on June 1st morning.

Depending on the time you are arriving on May 31st, can you watch a show right after you arrive that evening?

I know you can get tickets on May 31, and then get more tickets on June 1. However the May tickets have to be used by end of May, however I don't know whether that means just booked, or whether the show has to be in May.

Edit - Looks like someone else answered that better while I was posting!

Unfortunately they have to be booked and used by May. I checked for that little loophole too :)

Thanks for the replies. There will be three of us in my group and was considering a show the first week of June, so my hope was that I could get two tickets on the 31st, then pick up an additional two tickets on June 1st, but I guess that isn't going to work. What's the process for acquiring tickets booked under the Diamond offer? Are they issued at the Caesars Rewards desk, or are you given a voucher that you present to the box office? If nothing else, maybe I could get my two free Diamond tickets, then purchase one extra ticket. I'd want to get all three tickets at the same time, though, so that I could make sure we get three seats together.

You are exactly correct. You go to the Caesars rewards desk and pick up a voucher. Present that voucher at the box office to get the actual ticket. You can just pay for an additional ticket at the box office as well.

The only issue is that, depending on the show, buying a ticket at the box office may be costlier then buying it from a discounted vendor like tix4tonight or Groupon. So you need to decide how much being seated together is worth for you.

Exactly. I was thinking possibly Penn & Teller, and I'll verify this when I arrive, but it looks like Tix 4 Tonight might offer around $20 off per ticket. Since it's not an astronomical difference in price, I might be more inclined to pay a little more at the box office so that we can have seats together.

Aside from the monthly complimentary tickets, are there any other show ticket discounts offered to Diamond members purchasing tickets at regular price?

No, but if one of your friends in platinum, they do a 2 for 1 offer. Which I guess is useless since you only need 1 extra ticket. there are no other show tickets offers that I know of. Of course, you can always ask your host if he can hook you up or make sure you bill the extra ticket to your room and then try to get the charge taken care of on the back end.

It's not a show, but you do get half off tickets for the High Roller. This is in addition to your monthly show tickets. And I believe you can get 4 High Roller tickets per month.

When I was in Vegas in February, they also gave me a 2 for 1 ticket to Mac King at Harrah's. They did this at the Caesars rewards desk at Harrah's. Not sure if this was a diamond thing or for everyone.
