    WOW I have so much backlog. I didn't even realize that. :) Thanks so much for reading my trip report guys. I really enjoyed writing it and posting pics and such (although posting was a pain to learn lol).

    @ab Thank you :woot:

    @jmp I'm glad you could experience the ups and downs and whirlwinds :banana:

    @worldtraveler I am shocked at how much I actually retain. It kinda reminds me that my brain is a maze on info that I can capture if I try. Yay!

    I was so interested in exploring every inch of the terrain that I could in order to choose a place I could settle on for staying and playing reasons. Most of the little places out in Henderson do not even have a hotel attached to them. Summerlin is just a gorgeous place and I am sure I would stay over there when I start driving out in Vegas.

    I guess my complaints about a room is not typical. I once saw a cockroach outside my IP bedroom but I find the room quite spotless...but more importantly, I feel ALIVE in the IP hotel and casino. It's all about how a place makes me feel. Decor is everything to me really. A poorly done bed, wallpaper, carpet or curtain can set me off...even if the place is brand new, in good shape, sparkling clean, with gits and gadgets, with GREAT service...it's all about how it makes me feel in the end. The room could even be beautiful but if it leaves me feeling empty, I will pass. However, if I deem it beautiful in my opinion, chances are it will make me feel good. I once stayed at a perfectly OK outdated Rio room in the masquerade tower but the mismatched colors throughout the whole decor made me so moody that I basically sat in the room and didn't go anywhere for a whole day (which is the opposite of what I want) LOL same thing happened in Circus circus. Neurotic, psychological...who knows? I need a good feeling and very few hotel rooms make the cut in Vegas...even some of the most exclusive hotels.

    For the Aria comparison, well you may be very right. *but* I use it to say that the Gold Coast premium room will truly make you feel transported to a classier hotel. Good value.

    @LaRae Thank you for reading :wave:

    @dunebug Appreciate it :beer: :beer:

    @ant1433 Yay it was really fun to do. So glad it was fun :banana:

    @jr Sweet! I kept swatting my face. They would sit on my eyes, legs, lips, cheeks. They just ATTACKED me. I am not actually sure if they were mosquitoes though in the end. I had no bites, no itching in the end. They were a little bigger than mosquitoes too. But I will not be getting back on those water taxis. And good for you!! You will be so glad :)

    @worldtraveler miss anything about laughlin? it was really quaint, slower...I mean, some people love it. It wasn't my cup of tea. The vibe was definitely enjoyable but I could experience that in Atlantic City, and even Atlantic City is a lot more hype than there. I couldnt see myself seriously coming back...except maybe to use coupons!!! lol

    @chuck LOL! Believe. :D thankie

    @sailor That's a HUGE compliment. Yay! :thumbsup:

    @tuneintokyo awesome. thanks much,. My bf was not with me in vegas...we were on the phone actually. he has only come to vegas with me once; he was not a huge fan. he doesn't play. WWW is a good deal definitely and always the same rate on the website I gave. Certainly beats paying $100 for a room on sat at a low-end hotel. It really is a small treasure. good reviews on tripadvisor too. thanks for reading! :)

    Here's some more pics for your viewing pleasure!~~~

    The first is FINALLY a picture of Gold Coast room, starting with the friendly ghost near the chair (lol i bet it;s just a poor reflection....but fun for all you thriller lovers)

    [IMG]

    then the wall unit...pretty sleek

    [IMG]

    don't mind the grainyness...this was before I prepped my real camera and was using the phone camera

    and finally the comfortable beds

    [IMG]

    Another place I had more details on was the Harrahs Laughlin property...Shall I...?

    [IMG]

    from underneath

    then on the STEEEEP beach (which can be seen from the river)

    [IMG]

    That's not me on the chair (although we have similar skin tones)...

    It's pretty hard to get around on, since the sand is so DIRTY (or rocky) and especially on a hot day when the sand is roasting!

    [IMG]

    On to the room which had a terrible brick wall...i felt like something was about to go down or something

    [IMG]

    hard beds but plain and nice looking...

    [IMG]

    Remember this is Harrahs LAUGHLIN, not Harrahs Vegas

    Here is the river boat ($4)...with the MONSTER bugs flying everywhere, which could not be captured by my camera....but I guarantee you I could not *see* when I was taking this pic....from incessant swatting

    [IMG]

    ...and unrelated, the "park-like" circus circus buffet with food that looks edible but barely is

    [IMG]

    ...and the very unrelated, Virgin American plane....awesome purple and blue colors...OoOoOo the colors!
