    My Trip Report

Most trip reports don't include photos. My trip report includes photos without the report (I just never got to it!). I thought I'd post the album for those looking to fix a Vegas jones. ;)

It includes several pictures of our unit at Fairfield Grand Desert. This way, you get the tour without the three hour sales pitch! Also some photos of TI and Mirage pool. 45 photos in all. Hope you enjoy.

I've been obsessing about the Mirage pool area lately, and your pics are no help, thanks. ;) Was this the trip where you stayed at TI but got to use the Mirage pool because they were fixing the TI pool?

You have very nice composition on the photos. The Nevada Hotel neon is a cool pic; hard to do night shots without a tripod.

    Thanks, guys!

Dr. Al- yes, we got to use the Mirage pool because TI was closed- no disappointment there! Of course, now I'm spoiled as far as pools go...we got pretty wasted from the drinks in the giant souvenier glasses! [IMG]
i like the shot of the Nevada hotel neon too, because I was able to get in the Lady Luck sing and the Ogden street sign.... I am obsessed with those old signs and hope they put more on display soon!

Landa- Yep, that photo outside the Venetian was me & my husband! [IMG]
glad you could use a photo for wallpaper- I hope it works alright as I uploaded the photos in low resolution (I have dial up at home and if I'd used high res they'd still be uploading now!!)

I've often wondered about that Budhist shrine outside of Caesars. Why is it there. It seems kind of unusual -- even for Vegas!

HEY! I thought that was supposed to help my Vegas Jones! I'm about to upgrade from Vegas Twitch to full on I-need-some-vegas-Touretts Syndrom!!

That pic of the Ho is exactly how I remember the view from the Cinco de Mayo limo ride!

Thanks for sharing....I love pics of people in vegas.

There's some info about the shrine under the interesting facts section:
    http://www.vegas.com/resorts/caesars/

Being raised Buddhist, I remember my parents taking me to pray before this thing on trips when I was little. I still see lots of Asian tourists doing that, but they've moved it to a less prominent location since I was little.
