I had a drought today as well, at the Venetian, but the night is young for both of us!!!

 

JR is crushing quads and raspberry lemon drops. Bartenders shift change and marked improvement on service. Disclaimer...I acknowledged to the other bartender I was aware Cosmo policy was not his issue a d he was following orders.

 

I may come to join you for some Ult X later!!!

 

And just when I think shit is sorta straightened out I ask for an Ultra while I’m playing .50 triple play but I don’t have a drink voucher.
Bartender asks me “Do you know how comps work”???

It took a LOT from me not to act like a dick and say something sarcastic like “Yes...I think they are somehow connected to tips are they not”???

But I didn’t.

 

Sadly not at Cosmo, no ticket no drink. I know Bally’s has some sort of light thing but I’ve never had issues at the Lobby Bar getting a drink.

 

The polite version of my response would be. “Well unlike almost everywhere else in Vegas, *including nicer places than this, mind you*, they DON’T use this asnine ticket system one raspberry lemon drop please “

 

Yeah, I had this happen at the Sportsbook bar last year when I ordered drink 3 but ticket 2 had not printed yet. I think Stephanie was working then and told me I could open a tab with a CC but she would not charge anything until my final (or end of her shift) ticket to drink count balanced negative.

 

We've come to that point where we who actually play and enjoy our drinks are getting the shaft. This is the slippery slope we talked about when this shit started. Get rid of freeloaders and now make players pay.
