    Hi all

I am already looking ahead to booking for next years holiday! i was going to stop in the MGM as i have been there a few times and i love it but i have noticed that to book for the Signature is only £20 more expensive!

So i am tempted but just have a few questions.

    1. Do you still check in at the main MGM Grand check in for the signatrure hotels?
    2. How far away are they from the acrual MGM hotel? is it a long walk just to get back on the strip
3 Can you use the lazy river?

Also what do people thnk of the signature Hotels v the MGM?

Thanks very much for any advice and help

    Chris

I love Signature-- it is a lot quieter though so I don't know how you would feel about that...but it is relaxing and nice to stay over there.
You check in at one of the towers (no need to check in at MGM!), and it is a bit of a walk but if you like to walk it isn't bad- but it is almost like an exercise walk (maybe 20 mins?) just to get out on to to the strip! I usually stay in Tower 2, so it would be a little closer if you stayed in Tower 1.
You can use all of MGM pools, and the pools at Signature are really nice too.

Let us know if you have any more questions too!

Many Thanks for your reply, no walking does not really bother us but 20 mins when your drunk on the way back might lol

Is it about 20 mins to the casino in the MGM?

No it is probably 5 mins- but the casino and walking through MGM is so big, it takes a bit longer to get to the strip lol...maybe it is less than 20 mins to get to the strip, but it is a little bit of a hike- for some I can understand it wouldn't be their thing, but I don't mind it.

It's a good 10 mins for sure. But lots of people watching and eventual casino watching on the way. It didn't bother me at all. There are those electric walkways you see in airports too.

Signature does not check in at MGM main entrance, it has its own separate drive up and check in.

The rooms are nice. Mine had a balcony which was cool and not something you get at more casinos. The room was good value for the price. Two full bathrooms and kitchen in our one bedroom. Lots of space. Good service. Have fun!

Depending on what tower you stay in it's 5-10 minutes. You can also walk out the entrance onto Harmon if your intentions are just to get to the strip or head North. Very nice rooms, Balcony is worth the extra $$$ if you spend any time at all in the room.

Base rooms are much nicer than the MGM (Bigger, nice bathroom). The trade off is not having the casino/dining right below you. If you are staying in the Tower closet to the MGM its not much more of a walk than many rooms in the MGM.

Sort of. They all feature a king(queen?) bed, and a pull out queen sofa. You have a VERY small kitchenette, like a sink, minibar, etc in the main room, plus a bathroom. If you're more curious just look up the room you reserved on Youtube I'm sure there is a walk through video. The balcony rooms (middle tier) are pretty much identical but have balcony. The 1 BR Balcony suites are the best, and have two full bathrooms, a full kitchen, full fridge...they are awesome. It's what I'm staying in, in about 3 weeks
