    My Trip Report

We were out the weekend before Thanksgiving. I am not going to go into a full trip report because it would be boring to read. Just a few highlights.

Stayed at Flamingo the first two nights and the room was not an updated one, which was disappointing.

Played BlackJack almost exclusively and lost most of the time. Found 3:2 Double Deck tables in most casinos at $15 min. H17, but still not terrible.

Moved to Palazzo for the last two nights. As long as it is comped I am there from now on!

    City Center Experience:

We visited City Center on our last day. It was early afternoon and it was fairly quiet. We were sober, so the walk from the strip did not seem too bad. Played a few machines while there, but really didn't play too much, we really just went to check it out. We decided to hit the Bellagio next so we started walking to the tram. I had to stop in the restroom on the way. I proceeded to take care of my business, was washing my hands, and heard a stall door open. I see someone come out of the stall right next to the one that I was in. I think to myself, "my gosh! That woman in the wrong bathroom. How embarrassing for her!" :faint: Nope. Wasn't her fault. I went into the women's restroom and took care of my business! Here is the worst part: I walk out and my wife is sitting there speaking with a gentlemen and having a nice conversation. She was wearing a Nebraska sweatshirt and his wife is from Nebraska. His wife comes strolling out of the bathroom, and yes! It is my bathroom buddy! I had to be 100 shades of red.

We went to the Tropicana also. I was very excited to see it, and it is quite nice. However, it was pretty empty and felt a little antiseptic.

I did have one good run at Fitzgeralds on Sunday. Won a very healthy amount in about 3 hours. And the cocktail service was impeccable!

There was a lot of foot traffic on the Strip. More than I've seen in quite a while, but it was still easy to get on the tables. Of course we had a great time as always. Our trips are generally drink and gamble until we can't go no more! This pic pretty much sums up our trip:

Ha! That’s why my first order of business upon entering a Vegas restroom is to look for urinals!

I was there right after Thanksgiving and definitely noticed that the strip was much busier than it has been during my last several trips.

interesting observations, I assume you also saw the Texas crew of Big XII refs cashing their tickets from the Husker-A&M game at the sports book?

I heard that they cashed them in at the Western. We didn't make it there. That has to be as big of a screw job as I've ever seen. Beebe has them all working together. Can't get the to Big 10/12 fast enough!

Loved the bathroom story; and, it's nice to hear that traffic(people wise) is picking up.
