I won't play a game if I'm not proficient at it. So, it will be a while before I'll sit down and play it for money. Also, I stopped at 'M' for a Founders porter at their beer bar but was told they only had a Founders IPA at this time as the kegs of what's available change. I haven't drunk beer in 1 1/2 years and was only willing to binge on the porter so I left. Enjoyed the ride down there, anyway.

Sorry the trip came up empty there. I'm not up on porters too much. I usually drink the stouts instead. Locally, Joseph James's "I'm Out Stout" is a pretty good one. M Resort and possibly DTG should have that one compable. I got it last time at DTG in Fall 2016 while hitting a progressive four Aces at DDB. That's when drinking at the bar becomes real fun! ;)

I mis-typed. Our discussion was on stouts. He said they had no bottles, only kegs, and only Founders IPA at this time. I asked at other bars and they said the only bar with Founders would be the Sports Bar near the sandwich area that carries like 350 types of beer...just not all of them at all times, evidently. Could I have been wrong somewhere?

Not sure how well Founders is distributed in Nevada. As far as Canadian Breakfast Stout though, I wouldn't be shocked of they were the last place in Nevada to have it. It hit here in Dec mostly and didn't last long.

$19.00 for 3 pieces of shrimp? Are they nuts? Dude, I'm hitting the buffet, loading up on a plate full of shrimp for that price.

Great report, one of the best I have seen...and your pictures were top notch.....I totally agree with your assessment of the room at Silverton...best beds in vegas, and one of the worst overall bathrooms....Thanks for sharing !!!

I will also be staying at 4 hotels. Gotta get the freeplay by checking in. Caesars, G.V.R, Mandalay, Cosmo.

Have a great time. I love thinking along the lines of the entire Las Vegas valley as my casino/resort and that I drive to each casino just as I would walk to a different section of a single resort. The whole place is mine!!

Great TR!! In my 2017 coupon run I was a little sketched out from all of the online reviews of the North Las Vegas casinos so I opted out of them. After reading this, I think I'll have to try out at least Jerry's Nugget (hopefully all of them) for my 2018 run.

Love the description about the Longhorn Casino :haha: totally thought the same thing last year when I was redeeming my free slot play and matchplay there.
