At least they came through for you in the end!Watched rest of Raiders game from pool.
Bit chilly with the clouds and the wind.

Was good meeting you again for a chat! Sorry about MOk in the mgm pool hottub now and need to catch up.
Unfortunately VP pics are non-existent. But @aubreyc1988 and her hubby came by Park Sportsbook for a chat. Great people and it was good catching up with them before they checked out a Battlebots session.
The major luck I saw was the the neighbor to the right of me in an Ohio St. Jersey.
On "Stinkin' Rich" mostly betting $10 a spin, he ran up a hundo to $3000, @Gaggles style!

Room now ready. Not our usual hall wing, but when she said she put me in a strip view on one of our preferredcfloors, I was willing to take the chance.
Stadium update from the elevator bank.

My strip view. The shade is stuck.
Maybe I get it fixed, we'll see.

Chatted with a couple from Calgary for awhile. They are going to the knights preseason game vs. the Sharks tonight.
I told them maybe I'll pick up a ticket. The cheapest single is currently $97 on StubHub. No thanks.
This is insane @tringlomaneLet me go down there and maybe recover it? DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME!!!
Rush down the escalator. Then I would need to run about 50 yards north to find the nearest access to LVB. Then begin to run on LVB on the side of the road toward the phone. Some light turn traffic begins to appear.
Well, gravity can, but you're still the hero of this tale!
I keep waiting for rugby union to outlaw the hip drop tackle. But so far nothing.Well Park was...interesting.
The highlights were the bartenders Santiago and Robert. Guys that want you to keep coming back. Santiago also tells VMB he says hi!
I sat at the only open machine on the far side. Unfortunately it had no sound, but since Robert turned rugby on for me, I felt obligated to stay.
My neighbor on that first machine was "Drunk Scott Van Pelt." He intro'd himself by recognizing my Nordiques hat. His lack of hair, general facial features, and voice were fairly on target for SVP.
He was a good guy overall, even though he had the typical drunk annoyances, and he was a bit inquisitive about VP and the rugby game I was watching.
Late in the first half Drunk SVP points out one of my guys is seriously hurt. Wasn't thrilled with that, but was thrilled the ref threw the dude that caused the injury out of the game for a "hip drop tackle." And my team goes up 14-6 at halftime and up a man.
Well the rugby luck turned on the second half, especially after Drunk SVP left. I told Santiago that I would name him Drunk Scott Van Pelt in my TR and I told the name to all the other bartenders. We all had a good laugh over it.
In the 2nd half, while being a man up, my team was shut out, and lost by two points. II'm stunned.
Oh and I'm still quadless for the day.
Fuck me.
You can also be down to 11 and still win apparently, which Australia did this weekend. Did you watch them beat Australia @tringlomaneI come to VMB to learn.
Today I learned in rugby a team can be a man down, like hockey.
Maybe you used all the good luck up with the phone?Well luck is turning again...
Some asshole stole my tube while I was in the hot tub.
Fuck.
But since M didn't come but packed like she would...I still have one I can use...
This will definitely be a memorable trip for you!
Sorry to hear about the tube theft and the phone fall.
The villains--including gravity--can't keep you down!Well, gravity can, but you're still the hero of this tale!

. And thanks!
One of the best games of footy I have ever watched. For Newcastle to win with only 12 men for 44 minutes is incredible. The AFL grand final was also a great game.Well Park was...interesting.
