    My Trip Report

I do this all the time -- list all the things we are going to do on our trip and then we end up not doing them!! :rolleyes2:

Oh well...what the heck...I'll do it again!

    Things to do this trip:

~Take a towncar from the airport to the hotel and stop at In-and-Out burger on the way for hubby
~Score a $20 trick upgrade to the Celebrity Spa Suite at MGM
~Play as much big wheel Wheel of Fortune slots as possible (I love them, they are so much fun)
~Try as many new drinks as I can thanks to the suggestions of this great board!
~See Bette Midler on the 22nd (tix in hand)
~See Wayne Brady on the 21st (tix in hand)
~Go downtown finally! (Hubby wants a deep fried Twinkie :vomit:)
    ~See the Shark Reef
~See the Siren show at TI (yep, we go twice a year to Vegas and still have never seen it!)
~Finally get my tattoo at Vince Neil Ink for my birthday present! :woot:

Usually we have a huge agenda planned. Aside from our shows, we don't have one at all this time! I just want to go and have as much fun as possible...win or lose. It's been a long few months for me and the hubby with work and kids....we are ready for a much needed and deserved vacation!

    7 days and counting......

    Sounds awesome

The $20 trick upgrade is always on my list and I've yet to make it happen. :rolleyes2:

    Have a great trip!

Very frustrating isn't it - you have your whole little to-do list and still don't get it done!!

Some of the things I am still trying to complete -
    1. dinner at Margaritaville
    2. dinner at Batista's
    3. Sirens
    4. Gondola Ride
    5. Bodies Exhibit
    6. Tut Exhibit
    7. Elton John
    8. $20 trick

I'm sure there would be more if I sat down & really thought!!! Shall we see which one of us does better on this next trip?

We had lunch at Margaritaville once -- our waiter was....well a little strange :goofy:, food was just ok. Maybe dinner would be better.

Where is Batista's? Is that the little hole-in-the-wall italian restaurant a little bit off strip?

The gondola ride is nice....we did the outdoor one when it was so hot they were giving discounts on the tickets :ssst:

Bodies was really cool. A little pricey but it was interesting!

We still have yet to do the Tut thing or Elton John.

The $20 trick has worked on all but 2 of our trips to Vegas. They were both at the Mirage. No luck there for some reason. The others have been really nice upgrades. We hope to score another one this year at MGM. Hoping for the Celebrity Spa Suite again with the spa tub in the HUGE bathroom. It also has a fridge in the room, which I like so that I can take my leftovers back to the room!

    Have fun!!

Yes - Batista's is the little hole in the wall place behind Barbary/Bill's!

How long has it been there? I could swear that I ate there with my mom when I was like 16....back in 1993.

We've never seen Sirens either...timing is always just off. Hope you post a pic of the tatoo! Don't think I'll ever have enough guts. Might as well get the deep-fried Oreo while he's at it to get it out of his system!

The fried twinkie may be the most unhealthy food ever created- but it sure is good.
