Friday the 12th. Uneventful trip from Ohio to Vegas; was surprised at how close the airport is to the strip. Checked into the Flamingo at the airport, nice perk. When we got to the hotel the check in line was HUGE (around noon). Okay room on the 5th floor over looking the pool area. Hit the pool. Water was a wonderful temp and it was cool to take the drinks into the pool where they have all the sitting areas; very crowded too. We were ready for bed by 8pm vegas time, but we forced ourselves to stay up and headed for the strip.. Went to Barbary Coast, Harrah's (enjoyed carnaval court) The Venetian, the Mirage to see the volcano, and over to Bellagio; the fountains were shut down due to high winds. To bed a midnight.

Saturday the 13th up and out to the pool by 9am, still hard to find chairs. Pooled it until 1, changed and took a cab to the Luxor to see Blue Man Group - MOST awesome show! Fully worth the two ticket price of 180.00 Hubby won 200.00 playing video poker and I had some time to kill so I put some money in a nickle machine (not knowing how they even work) and won 78.00!. We decided to walk back to our hotel, and did so checking out Excalibur, NYNY (sombering reminder with all the T shirts on the wall), MGM (too huge),the M & M store, the coca-Cola store, Aaladin, Paris (beautiful)played some VP there and we both won, then on to Bally's, Bellagio, Caesar's forum shops (cool) then to O'sheas to go some gambling - no winners there. Awesome day, and it went up to 120.

Sunday the 14th - up early, wathced the sun rise at 5 am, to the pool until 11, then napped until 1. Limo picked us up at 5:30 to take us to the LIttle White Wedding Chapel to renew our vows (married 10 years). Very cool, very touching, had a blast. LImo to the Strat next. Did some gambling (BJ) then to the roof for dinner. A most awesome sight during dinner with all the lighs of the strip and the city. Dinner was great; well worth the cost. Bed by 10 am.
