DaiLu, Thanks so much for writing such a detailed, informative, fun and simply lovely (re: experiences with you son) report! :headbang::clap: :headbang::clap: You've got me even more excited about my cruise, for which I still have a lot of planning to do. Thanks again!

    Great report and pictures!

You are not alone, DaiLun. My gf and I have refused/not picked-up/ignored around a dozen free cruise offers from various casinos this year. We have no interest in travelling that way.

I would love to see Alaska and some other places I haven't been. I don't want to be stuck on that boat. Especially if the weather is so poor to rule out at least hanging out at the pool. And a cruise ship casino has never seemed like a fair shake.

One of the cruises we were offered included a balcony room. And it was 3 weeks visiting all kinds of exotic places. But you only had about 8 hours in each place to see it before you had to be back on the ship and hitting the seas. in fact, the vast majority of the 3 weeks was spent on sea. No thanks.
