    My Trip Report

It’s not me….but it was once.
Going tomorrow at 1:50.in the pm.
Eating at the redwood for dinner (on a recommendation from a guy that owns a chicken empire)(but he said to order the steak and lobster(?)and the money back guaranteed soup…..so not sure about preflight meal…..breakfast, thundercloud subs which are portable or Mexican food. Gotta be there by 12:40 I feel. Even as state born natives the jostling for position is intense.
B-20-21. No more A list. Actually never entitled. Promotional. Nice. But gone. (Hopefully not beside someone in line I perked my nose to while A-list as they mixed with the “ordinary”people…….)
    I’m back in my realm….

staying at California Sunday - Wednesday and 4queens  Wednesday and Thursday. Well of course it’s complicated. But if it slows your reading comprehension it’s your first trip report visit to this poster. Wise up!!
The others never come back either. You’ll be fine.

    Tirement party over again…..poor thing.

Soup, martini, probably. Coffee shop has been most :p generous lately. May have to minimize losses to reload. :) the machine. Also hitting the crime-district-almost but not quite. Have “protection” this time. Lotsa packin’.

So we say our goodbyes to those we love although they disguise their heartbroken little feelings well. 26E0E789-A65A-4EBF-9BAE-21D112F7100F.jpeg We’ll be back Friday falls on apparently deaf ears. ABDC20C2-9EA4-433E-806D-39DEAC037B31.jpeg And off we go seeking nourishment for our journey. Kirbey Lane is 45 minutes into the future but further than that even as we hadn’t the time this am. We settle on 11 o’clock Mexican food and are screaming through traffic which is usually found on a Sunday morning in Zilker park.
Timing is everything and we are seated quickly. BAC941B2-6DD6-49A9-8C2A-FD4642816F61.jpeg E27DB5A7-3EAF-4401-A99E-450640578A03.jpeg
I chose the lighter side of life with a water and lime. :feedme: 87C5E6FD-BF87-4D6A-B863-E68726AB08D4.jpeg 2F30545B-9D67-4CF1-AACD-9A894F1E0DA0.jpeg The younger b-day girl (on Tuesday) had the usual enchilada platter with margarita, :wiggle: on the rocks, no salt……I forgot documentation until 1/2 way through mine and thus wayyyy too :cry:late for further pictorial documentation.

We make it to the airport in nothing flat and are quickly seated in the waiting area……hoping for timely travels. D2046A93-C822-4F74-ABA3-58D007B7FE21.jpeg A listed no more but we’re ahead of about 75 other poor souls. 03588182-81F2-4069-A2C7-5B7F42806D39.jpeg And in a matter of a few hours were walking toward the pick :p up area for ride share wondering :ssst: how there could possibly be a problem with limousine service given their preferred parking spots. 4FB8B4E0-B290-477D-B4F8-10BC05CB0E44.jpeg Some people just aren’t ever going to be happy.

Got checked in and freshened up a bit (as is customary) prior to heading down for some quick action in the casino. I can tell you there was one four of a kind pre dinner and it wasn’t mine but was premium in some paytable seen on various games. B4C8DD80-4CA4-4F09-BD8A-1518A2C0CB4B.jpeg
    Just not this one.
And then it was 5 o’clock. Time for libations.
A REAL Manhattan… D051E90F-7E60-4C42-8531-D534EF623D0E.jpeg followed by bread and soup 28DCBFF1-5B99-4A5F-9423-13EAE9100314.jpeg 2A3695AD-DAAD-4D56-BD65-D7C3E447FDDF.jpeg and mashed potatoes 22647274-0DA7-4CE1-A9FE-9481D253AAA4.jpeg and a petite filet with lobster AF6DC65F-FDB5-4044-9690-0A75471DEECE.jpeg and asparagus and butter 620AC433-8FCD-4D76-8673-F93790F7974E.jpeg and another steak 74EE89DE-68A4-438C-886A-AFDA68B48A26.jpeg C523F998-F962-44B6-9D43-03D6C35A1A05.jpeg and a bottle for what ails ya’ A02101DE-B572-4790-A457-585FC2364FFF.jpeg of significance to some. lt was all delicious. And a great start to the evening.

And so the pursuit continued into the night. It was about 7:16 in the pm and nadda on the 4OaK front. One more 20 and I’m calling for time…..
Then suddenly, because of clean livin’ im fairly certain, BAM!!! Lightning struck….. 6E82F190-C612-4431-AA6D-160339FE73ED.jpeg
And then THIS——- 82CA6DD0-3F1D-4933-8993-D97D202BFA2C.jpeg 11DB771D-9512-42E0-B9F3-108FE1F8F691.jpeg but as I tried to act nonchalant and reflect it weren’t my first rodeo THIS 32BE482C-C7CB-48D1-9947-C3DCA4E63B2B.jpeg kept flashin’ before my eyes over and over. I kept sayin’ how much fun this was but it kept on a flashin ‘. :bang:

Recent comments about cut backs at various casinos had me curious enough to pay attention sort of as we checked in. we have a second roll 84648865-F346-4B45-A992-3ED58A9BE258.jpeg of toilet paper and box of Kleenex as well as shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. DBB44E28-D0E8-49EA-A857-91C96B856C08.jpeg And of course the complimentary water E52253D7-5D3F-4F68-95FD-A8B9D1229BE3.jpeg so as not to dehydrate. I thought it was a nice touch. :headbang:
The rain is pitter-pattering on the window and it is also almost midnight :rolleyes2: back at the old homestead so adios little wranglers until tomorrow :snore:
    :poke:

Congrats on the Royal!!! Great way to start a trip! Also, Redwood looked great. Looks like they put a REAL cherry into that Manhattan.
