  1. Day 2 June 18.
We started out by having breakfast at the Paris buffet. The cost was about $12/person and worth every penny!!! [IMG] :D Every thing was so fresh and many things were made to order. Omelets, Crepes with fresh fruit and cream, fresh fruit, pastries, muffins, etc. I can not say enough about how good this breakfast was!! After breakfast hubby and I had to run back to the hotel, so we met up with them at the Aladdin. We walked around the shops and wanted to catch the rain storm, but had just missed it and did not feel like waiting around for 30 minutes just for that. Next we went to Caesar's Palace to take the free tour the catacombs of Caessar's Magical Empire. We toured it on a previous trip and decided this was a must do for the next trip. They still give you the $10 off the ticked price for the show, but you have to ask for it when you purchase the ticket. Also it is only good for shows between 430 and 520p. Then we went over to the Rio to try to catch the parade in the sky. We only got to watch part of it, but it was totally cool! Well worth the trip over there. But, like I said, we had to leave so we could get back to the Magical Empire for the show. My brother in law decided he was not intrested in going to the show, so he went to the movies instead. He missed a great time. The Magical Empire is by far one of the best entertainment values around. The price was $65.50 (which included our $10 discount). Dinner includes wine or other beverage, salad, your choice of beef tenderloin, chicken, or vegetarian. For kids they could have chicken strips and french fries or pizza. Dessert was three small portions of cheese cake, chocolate cake and tiramasue (spelling??). I had the beef and it was wonderful! There were about 30 of us in a dining chamber with a wizzard who performed magic tricks during dinner. After dinner you went to the first of two theatres. The first was close up magic, card tricks and such. The second was a larger theatre with big illusions. Both were very good. You could stay in the catacombs as long as you liked and there were several magicians roaming around doing other types of magic. In the ladies room, "ghosts" appeared in the mirror. The whole thing was great!!! [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]
We finally left at about 830 and met up with my brother in law and headed down town for some sight seeing. The highlight of downtown was the 99cent shrimp cocktail at the Golden Gate. Everyone should stop in for one. The shrimp was very fresh and the sauce was excellent. My brother in law was looking for the perfect black jack table-but never found it. So we decided to head to the Sahara for some cheap black jack and craps. Craps is now my favorite game! We played until about 3am and then decided we just could not stand up any more so went back to the hotel for some rest.
