I just saw on Facebook that Las Vegas Club is now serving Hamm's beer on draft for only 50 cents. Seems like a steal. Anybody know how many ounces the glasses are?

ewww thats nasty. I'm not very picky when it comes to beer, but you couldn't pay me $5 bucks to drink a Hamms

Pretty sure that's the same stuff we drank in college because it was $2 a six pack. Think I'd rather put a $20 in a machine and drink Bud Light or Corona.

While your opinions regarding the quality of Hamm's are welcome, can anyone answer the initial question?

Yea, the 50 cent beers are 12 ounces. For $1.00 you get 8 ounces.

    Pa dump dump.

Sorry, just kidding, I have no idea.

Very nice. I love Old School Beers. Reminds me of sitting outside with my dad when I was 12 and my dad gave me a drink of his Hamms.

I know where I am going to be stopping for a couple of drinks next time I am out there.

Bud Light or that american macro crap isn't any better than this haha. I'll partake in one for old times sake I suppose.

Many houses ago, I had a collection of beer signs and my favorite was the electric Hamm's sign that looked like the "Land of Skyblue" waters was moving.

Could have also been Red, White & Blue. That used to be $1.99 for a six pack.

My motto in life: I'll try anything once, twice if it tastes good.

We had our share of budget brews growing up in the Philly area, Schmidts, Ortleibs (called Joe's Beer), Stegmaier, Genny Cream Ale and some crap in a stubby brown bottle Erlanger or Erdinger made in Wilkes Barre, you had to hold the 6 pack from the bottom because the cardboard overwrap would fall apart if you carried it like a bowling ball.

But no one has answered the OP's question, I will take a stab at it. A half keg will theoretically yield 165 glasses at 12 oz. or potentially yield 124 pints less spillage and such. I say the LVC will pour 12 oz. since a pint would produce a loss.

I had a beer and a hot dog special there and the beer was in a small glass. 8-10 oz. Probably eight. I assume the Hamms would be in a similar sized glass for the price.

For the record I used to drink Hamms in college and enjoyed a few at the Plaza on this same trip. It's better than Bud Light..but then again what isn't?

This discussion of Hamms beer brought back memories of when I was in Vietnam, many years ago, Hamms beer cost 10 cents a can and it was as good as could be expected after sitting out in the sun on Vietnams docks. It was one of the few kinds of beer we could get. We liked it so much we formed a club of Hamms devotees and just sat around and drank Hamms beer, when other things weren't happening to us and around us. We even had a patch made up to put on our uniforms. It was a cloth replica of a Hamms beer can with the words Hamms for lunch bunch on it. Our lunch time was around12 to 4 in the A.M. Will have to get a 50 cent Hamms beer.

I just received a response on Facebook regarding the glass sizes: they say the Hamm's drafts are 12 ounces. They also say they have $1 drafts of other domestics which are also 12 ounces.

Thats pretty good size for .50, even if it is Hamms. I only drink beer on rare occasions, and it all tastes the same to me.

LVC has to be the most depressing casino I've ever been in. The only reason I even go in there is to cut through from FSE to get to California and Main Street Station.

I don't think even $0.50 beers would be enough for me to break stride once I get there!
