Trying to find fireworks on the strip info so I can book my room. Thinking Cosmo in case CET does a show like last year.

    Who's going?

Not a big deal in Vegas, maybe 2 or 3 casino's with fireworks.
I'll be at MSS downtown for a couple of nights playing some VP and drinking Black Chip Porters.
We'll watch the fireworks from a parking garage somewhere downtown. :drunk:

I'll be there. At the Nugget for the 4th. Don't quote me on this but I thought/think the D opened their events center for viewing. Maybe there was just a band and you could see them from there. Prolly, too many beers when i was there on the 4th a couple years back.

Anyone have any experience in Vegas on the 4th? Have a trip planned but didn't know how crowded it would be. On one hand, it's a holiday weekend but on the other hand it's the middle of summer and the 4th isn't known as a big travel holiday.

I will be downtown for the 4th. 3 nights at the Flea-mont and 2 nights at 4Q. it has been many years since I have been to Vegas on the 4th. I will need to find out where to watch the fireworks.

I'll be at the Bellagio on the 4th. I've never been to LV on the 4th of July either so I'm also curious where the fireworks will be launched from and how busy it will be.

I've done it twice. 2004 at Caesars, then again in 2010 and stayed at the Golden Nugget. Definitely a busier time on the strip vs downtown. Caesars had fireworks, The Stratosphere , Mandalay Bay and The IP (now Linq) had a show as well, or it may have been Harrahs?) it was pretty fantastic. I'm an amateur pyro guy, so I know good fireworks, and all the shows were awesome, it was kind of pyro overload. Next trip out will be 4th of July thats' for sure.

I'll be in town the 3rd - 6th staying at the Luxor and then downtown for two nights (I think the Plaza, but El Cortez, The D, and Golden Nugget are tempting me).

With this being a rearranged trip I have just realised I will be in Vegas on 4th July. I'm stopping at Mirage this time.

Was there on the 4th last year, stayed at LINQ but we watched the amazing Caesars show from the Voodoo rooftop at Rio, which was an awesome view. Paratroopers, long fireworks show, the works. We'll be back this year, staying at Flamingo then back end at The D. Probably gonna try to post up somewhere else this year. If I recall they also did some cool stuff in the LINQ promenade.

Will be in town June 28 leaving on the 4th. Two years ago, we watched the fireworks from the street outside Harrah's. The Voodoo rooftop sounds like an amazing place to watch.

I just read a Vegas news article saying that there will be no fireworks on the Strip or DT on the 4th. Only Plaza DT (on Saturday 7/1) and Caesars Palace (Sunday 7/2) have fireworks displays this year. Apparently Mandalay Bay and Stratosphere aren't doing them at all this year.
