    Ok so a quick recap...

    Saturday
    ————-
Delayed out of CLE for 3 hours. We ended up getting $75 voucher. Landed and Presidential picked us up. Picked up our liquor order from Total Wine and More. We tried to go to the Las Vegas sign but the line was too long. So we drove up the strip to the Mirage and back to Delano. We had 8 newbies on the limo so it was a good experience for them.

We got checked in at Delano and changed and went to the Foundation Room at MB as the ladies had free drinks.

Drinks consumed and went to bed.

    Sunday
    ————
We had brunch at Border Grill and as I spoke of earlier it was amazing.

We then went to the Delano pool and relaxed for awhile. My wife had a comp room at Cosmo so we went there. The girl checking us in asked “King bed” and there were 6 of us standing there and I go “yup!” She was a little confused by that.

Room was a terrace one bedroom suite so we had a great view of the fountains at Bellagio.

We then went to the high roller and ended up getting ten of us in our own bar car. There were people behind us in line and they didn’t make them get on with us. The bartender said that usually costs $2,000. So we made sure to tip her well. Stephanie was awesome and if you can do that I’d suggest it.

Now after this we were ALL drunk. And I had a little “incident” with flip flops, and going up an escalator that was going down.

I sliced the ball of my foot in a few spots (but not deep enough for stitches). There was a lot of blood and I was pretty pissed at myself. We got back to Cosmo and friends got me supplies to get it cleaned and patched up.

People came to the room and we watched the fountains. The wife and I stayed after everybody left.

    Monday
    ————

We had a “surprise” as a couple in our group just had their 30th anniversary. The groom had never gotten any surprises over his wife in that time. Well, we got her good. So they renewed their vows at the chapel at Mandalay Bay.

Afterwards we went to Skyfall to have a drink.

A few of us went to Fleur by Hubert Keller at MB.

After that I took a quick nap and then got ready to head to Marquee at Cosmo. A friend from high school is a promoter there and was able to get us in for free. Ladies drank free for an hour.

We went to the library part and they had headphones to wear so you could switch channels to hear the three different DJ’s spinning. Which was cool so you could take the headphones off and talk to people.

    We got back at 4am

    Tuesday
    ————-
I had a massage scheduled for 8am and it was fantastic. I went to the Mandalay Bay spa as I had a $50 MyVEGAS credit for a 50 or 90 minute massage. I ended up getting Wendy who was the head massotherapist. I highly suggest her. Great job.

Went down and had the $8.99 breakfast special at House of Blues and then we played yesterday before watching the All Star Game and then going to dinner at Charlie Palmer’s Steak. 8 of us got the cut of the week which was:

This is one of the best high end meal deals I’ve found. Edgar kept the wine flowing (bottomless) and the strip was outstanding!

We talked about going downtown but that didn’t happen as it was 11 when we got done with dinner. Wife and I played some VP and no big hits.

    Wednesday
    ——————

Used a MyVEGAS coupon for a 2 for 1 buffet at Bayside Buffet. For $20 roughly for two of us is fine. I wouldn’t pay full price for it though. Played a little and packed up and headed to the airport.

Waiting on our flight to BWI and then to CLE.

Forgot to mention my best friends wife got her picture with this guy as we walked through the Forum Shops.

Yes that’s Dennis Rodman. I literally almost ran into him. He didn’t want to take a picture but she said “it’s my 8th wedding anniversary” he looked at us and I said “it really is” and he said “I will but just her”. So we did.

Nice recap so far. Interesting about the "library" portion of the club.

Love the trip report and all the pictures, especially this one. Doesn't every hotel look so close from high above? :hmmm:

So glad to hear your trip went well and all the celebrations and surprises went so well! Looks like you had a great and fun group.

I'm glad your injury wasn't enough to slow you down!

Thanks so much for your awesome report, @blkshirt! :D
