I wouldn't mind having one but I don't think I would play enough to earn one.

It does open. I don’t like it as much as the dog one from a couple of years back but I’m glad to keep my collection growing.

My Jan/Feb 4 Queens mailer says 1,000 points gets you a Jeweled Ox.

And you will also get $100 in free play. Do the math...this is a GREAT promotion. Not counting the "jeweled ox" or the comp dollars earned (.625%), when playing 9/6 Jacks, the return is > 101%

I earned mine a couple weeks ago, but they were out, so they're shipping. Can't wait for my monstrosity to arrive!

Btw, they also sell previous years' animals at the gift shop. I got the Rooster monstrosity for $15.

Just an FYI, at the airport this morning the Ox was subjected to further security screening. He passed with flying colors though!

Do you mean the Binion's version is different from the 4Q version?

This promotion always makes me laugh. One of the strangest thing I've seen offered in a casino mailer.

Possibly. The version Zlanga got is quite a bit different than mine.

I had no idea, so I checked with Mrs. Don. Yes they are different. Says the 4Q version is more "elaborate" (if that's possible:rolleyes2:)

@Don the Dentist Haha more elaborate Ox! Now I have to go to 4Q and do the promotion again.

My Binion's Ox in a Box arrived in the mail yesterday.

I prefer your bejeweled bovine to the one I expect to arrive in the mail from Four Queens.

In recent years has Binions ever given a promotion lunar new year figurine different from that of Four Queens (other than this ox)?
