My Jan/Feb QQQQ and Binion’s offers seemed odd - even though I had 5x overall coin-in and double coin-in/day at QQQQ, my Binion’s offer was $80 FP and two free weeknights, while my QQQQ offer was only $40 FP and buy one night 30% off get one free :hmmm:Either they are looking at game selection now or they factor in actual play results (up over a thousand at QQQQ, down about $400 at Binion’s)...

Got mine and was unchanged from two months ago; was same as yours, except my indicator in address is now D2, which I thought was their highest level. Just got back three weeks ago, so perhaps that fortune I lost will be figured in for March/April.

By the way. I presume if one stayed last week of February and first week of March, one could use four months of offers almost back to back (with a two night gap somewhere else, I believe). Takes too long to get there for a week...I like to homestead.

I think I got the same QQQQ offer of $40 FP and discounted nights (maybe have been 1 or two nights free...I accidentally recycled the flyer). Previous offers were $80 FP and 2 or 3 nights. We were there in October for the Halloween silver strikes. I thought we played about the same amount as we did in June, but perhaps not. I don't track my QQQQ play as closely, since we're primarily there for the silver strikes.

Well then let’s hope you get an invite for the SS event in January. Is on QQQQ site, btw.

No invite, at least not yet. I didn't even know they gave invites. We just pay for our tournament spots. It's a really good deal in June because they include the rooms. $226 for a tournament entry, two receptions, and a pizza party...plus the room.

Finally got my 4Q Jan/Feb mailer. Mine stayed exactly as it was. $200 FP and 3 nights comped. My play has been consistent. Three to four nights per trip, averaging 6 to 7k per day. I’m wondering if they are taking THEO into consideration. My play is 100% on JOB. I don’t play any of the DB or DDB that has the higher EV. I’ll be there next month, so I’ll ask my host if she knows what is going on with some offers.

Considering the payables at the bar, generous cash back, generous food comps....I can totally understand them changing what it takes to get a free room, not to mention the rooms are still cheap. All of this for 4Q though, I have zero desire to play, or stay at Binions, and never have.

Sorry some noob questions here. Does the $6400/800 points on VO for room comp can you play at both Binions and FQ to combine for the comp? Is this over a stay or a daily amount needed?

I am not sure what you mean by "VO" but it is my understanding that Binions and FQ do not combine your daily action in determining whether you get benefits for one of them. It is like they are two separate casinos for those calculations. While being separate may sound like an obstacle, you can double dip and get free play from both places so just adjust your play accordingly. Further, you need to hit those point thresholds per day, not per trip.

Anybody familiar with what offers might look like at 750 points/day (exactly 5250 points over a 7-night stay)? I ended up at zero OOP on the back end (not exactly sure how much my comp balance was drawn down - I guess I was just happy to hear that I was fully comped off with anything remaining at all, especially for a trip over NYE ), so mainly interested in what I might see in terms of FP... of course, if I’m getting to the point where I need to be having a meal or two at Hugo’s to spend comps, I won’t complain :licklips::feedme::beer:

If you play there at least once a year then you don't have to worry about the comp dollars expiring. I think that I passed you on the elevator in the South Tower on the 9th floor. I was getting on and you were getting off the elevator.

Another interesting wrinkle; I looked at my account balance as soon as I started playing at 4Q, and I already had $40 FP (never was informed I would receive this), then received another $40 on January 2 (I was informed about this by the mailer). This did not replicate over at Binion’s - just received the $80 on January 2 per the mailer I received. I probably should have checked my balance before I ate at Binion’s Cafe early during the trip; I may have slightly borked my average points (although to no lower a level than it was the previous trip, where I played 500 points’ worth in 2-3 days, versus a definite two days this trip, including the day I just ate at Binion’s Cafe and used a comp) We’ll see - besides the extra average play at 4Q (from 500 to 750 points/day) I also lost a fair bit at 4Q this trip, versus my considerable win on the previous trip... I place myself at the mercy of the TLC Casinos marketing folk :nworthy::p

Just returned from a short 3 day stay, 1 at the ‘D’, and 2 at the 4Q. I did find out that the 4Q do have several tier levels. They are from Bottom to top

    TOPAZ
    PEARL
    RUBY
    SAPPHIRE
    EMERALD
    DIAMOND
    DIAMOND II

Every time you put your slot card in a machine, it tells you how many comp $ you have, and it tells you what your point level is. These accumulate as you play. If you are unsure, check at the slot club.
Again, I’m a 6K a day player and play about 3 or 4 days per trip about every 2 to 3 months. I only play JOB and non of the higher return games. If you are playing a 100% or greater game, they may feel they don’t need to reward you as much. I definitely have had that happen to me before. The slot club told me I was at the Emerald level. I don’t know the coin in for each level. Next time you are there and talk to your host, ask him/her what tier you are and how they determine their mailers.

    Hope my 2 cents help

P.S. on my last night and my last hundred, I held a ‘bookend’ two high clubs, and caught the other three. First time to hold two and hit it!

@Mike Aclin You just helped us figure out how to decode offer codes on the mailers. Thanks for that.

For Jan-Feb, I have "JFD20" from Four Queens and "AJFS20" from Binions. Let's break this down.
    • For Binions, the first character is always "A" for "Apache Hotel", and had been "B" for "Binion's." This differentiates the offer code from Four Queens, which omits this first character at the front.
    • The next two (or, for Four Queens, first two) characters are for the months that the offer covers. For March and June, this will be just one character. Further broken down: JF = Jan-Feb, M = Mar, AM = Apr-May, J = Jun, JA = Jul-Aug, SO = Sep-Oct, ND = Nov-Dec.
    • The next character is your offer tier level -- Topaz, Pearl, Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Diamond, Diamond II (not sure what the exact code is for this, but it appears to be "D2")
    • The final two characters are for the year. My offers in 2019 all ended in "19" and I see "20" for my current Jan-Feb 2020 offers. However, I think Diamond II offers in 2019 may have had "29" at the end.
Hopefully, someone at the Diamond II level who got their Jan-Feb 2020 offers might be able to confirm some of this. Also, I have only ever gotten Ruby, Sapphire, and Diamond offers.

Ruby is where the comp room offers begin.

Any estimates for play requirements for the various offer tiers should be in the form of earned comp dollars. This is to account for table game players (who earn comp dollars at the rate of 10% of theo -- something I further confirmed from my own play at Four Queens just two weeks ago; this was based on the average bet the pit gave me, my knowledge of the average rate of play typical for the game I was playing, and the typical hold / house advantage for that game). Simply multiply by 20 to figure out the equivalent in points. Also, I am not absolutely sure how many previous gaming days factor into offers, but my look at my numbers from my gaming diary and recent history of offers indicates that it is the average of your previous four gaming days. Thus, it is important to never short-play on any individual gaming day at Four Queens (or Binion's) if you wish to maintain good offers.

My current estimate for Diamond II is $62.50 daily average (for the previous 4 gaming days) for earned comp dollars (1250 points). Maybe in the $60-65 range (1200-1300 points). I estimate that Diamond is at $50 daily earned comp average (1000 points).

That estimate syncs perfectly with what I had assumed. My assumption was educated guess rather than this level of detail. I have been targeting 1,000 points per day and have been at the Diamond level for the past year or so. Prior to that I was targeting 800 and was getting $200 FP which I assume is emerald.

Now you have got the D2 offer. Congratulations! $300FP and three free room nights seems to be top offer (ooh and the added bonus...winning a free rat). Peaked out at QQQQ will have to build up my level at Binion’s...not even a D anything there.

Does 4Q have An online way of seeing level/comps/etc? I live overseas, never got snailmail from Them.
