Happy Hours are a great way to experience good food and drink without breaking the bank or stuffing yourself on a dinner buffet. On my December trip, we hit 5 happy hours. Here's some details on three of them.

CHART HOUSE (Golden Nugget) 4-6 MONDAY - FRIDAY
http://www.chart-house.com/menus_pdf/CHLV_happ.pdf
Chart House offers one of my all time favorite Happy Hours. The Servings are big, the setting excellent, and the food is delicious.

CENTER CUT STEAKHOUSE (Flamingo) 5-7 Daily + 9-10 Late Night.
Center Cut Happy hour was surprisingly excellent. From the $5.00 Premium Cocktails to each small plate...this one really shines!

Thanks for the tips!

If you like those types of gin drinks, sometimes I make:

2 oz gin of choice
1 oz fresh lime
3/4 oz St. Germain
1/4 oz simple syrup (optional)

Shake and strain. Very floral and refreshing.

When I stay on Eastern Time sometimes the Happy Hour specials are my favorite dinners. Thanks for the Chart House pics, I have been wanting to try them.

When did you go to Vegas? Any large yellow costumes involved?

We go to the Chart House happy hour every trip. The used to have a lemon drop martini on the special menu and I still ask for it for $5 or 6. One of the best kept secrets....

lol...It was my annual December trip...just last month. I didn't bring my giant inflatable penis costume. I think I've gotten that out of my system. Although I did....Maybe I need.to write a trip report. It's kind of freaky.

I always thought during happy hours you likely get inferior food & drinks

That all depends on the restaurant. These three were solid. Every food item was excellent. CUT was pouring top shelf cocktails for 5 bucks. It doesn't get much better than that on the strip. I think there's getting to be some happy hour competition with special menus. It's not like they're serving chicken fingers and hot dogs.

Here's some other examples of high end happy hours you might enjoy.

Cosmopolitan Social Hour

Bardot Brasserie

Wynn Lakeside Poke & Oyster Happy Hour

I may not eat many full dinners in Vegas anymore. I'm really liking these Happy Hours.

Hendrick's at Happy Hour prices? I'm so there.

The level 131 lounge in the Stratosphere is one of my favorite happy hour places. You can't beat the view.

One of my favorites too. We tried to hit this one also on my last trip but just couldn't squeeze it in. One correction though...It's the 107 Lounge. They offer 1/2 priced appetizers and 2 for 1 cocktails from 4-7 daily. Also you get free tower admission. Another outstanding HH with one of the best views in Vegas.

@alanleroy Do you happen to know if the Flamingo happy hour is 7 days a week? I didn't see anything to indicate otherwise on the website. Ruth's Chris at Harrah's has a nice one but it's only Mon-Thurs I believe.

Yes. 7 days for CUT. I like the RC HH too. I go to the one here in Fresno pretty regularly... It's M-F here.

Thank you so much for this! Exactly what I've been looking for. I'll be trying Center Cut for sure my next trip in a couple weeks. Love that they have a late night happy hour.
