3 days and 11 hand pays: The TR

June 10
Arrived around 11:30am and met my driver from Wynn. Got my bag and off we went. Git dropped off at Tower Suites entrance and was escorted to check in with my bags. Room wasn’t ready yet so I left my bags and got a margarita at the parasol up bar. I didn’t want to start playing right away so I was trying to stall.
Well that didn’t last long! I started playing a slot that I had won on last time. A penny machine with $6 max bet. Well I it within 5 minutes of playing; my 1st hand pay for $1335! My 2nd hand play followed about 4 spins later for $1905! Went off to Louis Vuitton and got myself a nice bag to add to my collection.
Played some more and went to see if my room was ready and it was. It was a rower suite king room which is not a suite. It’s a regular Wynn resort room in the tower suites. Nice enough with a great strip view.
Nothing else to repot that day. Had lunch at Wazuzu at Encore and played some more. Went upstairs around 7 and ordered room service, watched tv, unpacked and went to bed.
June 11
Woke up and was downstairs around 7 . Played $6 max penny machine and got my 3rd hand pay of$1477. The attendant recognized me from yesterday. Played the machine some more and went off to play a $5 reel machine at $15 a spin. On my 4th hand pay of$1200. At this point I couldn’t believe my luck! What the hell was going on?!!
Kept playing and nothing big. I thought I’d go into the high limit slot room at the Wynn. I started playing the same type of machine that I won the $1200. Well, I hit $6000 on it! The most I’ve ever won. They don’t even ask for my id anymore. They know who I am by now and are calling my by last name! The attendant comes with the money asks if I would like counted out. I say, “Yes.” And here we go…100, 2, 3 and on and on.  It was great. I couldn’t believe it!!
Got a cab and went to Nordstrom at Fashion Show to do some shopping. Got a bunch a nice items, went back to the room, put them on and went to the Bellagio because a massage appointment which I used my express comps to pay with.
Had my massage but I couldn’t relax. I was still thinking about all the luck I’d been having. My mind was racing. The massage was nice and by the time it was over I was feeling a bit better. Got out of there quickly and went to play some slots. Well wouldn’t you know it I hit another hand pay for $2811. What the hell is going on here?!!!! WOW!
Got paid out and went to Louis Vuitton and bought myself a nice wallet. Might was well spend the money on me rather than feed it back to the machine.

Got my amazing wallet walked through Caesars, then on to the Mirage where at one point I had $1400 on my machine but gaveI back to them. Walked to Palazzo and then back to Wynn. Played a bit more and then went upstairs.
June 12
Woke up on Tuesday and it was my last full day. It was a disaster. I was losing all morning and wanted to go home. Then I sat down at a .25 machine playing $20 a spin and hit 4 times on it. This was unbelievable. I hit for $1263, $2097, $1200 and $1667!!!!!! Unbelievable!!!!! I was playing that machine for about 3 hours and even asked the attendant to watch it for me while I ran upstairs to get some ibuprofen because my back was killing me!!! Lol!
The last hand pay of the trip was for $1200 on a $5 machine, playing $15 a spin.
I had some nice meals…lunch at the country club was ok…service was really bad. I would have complained if I was paying for it, but everything was comped.
Went upstairs, packed my bags, ordered room service watched tv and got ready to leave the next morning. Got up, had breakfast at Tableau (white choc. French toast with orange) which was amazing and some champagne. Played some more and was taken by the house car (Rolls Royce Phantom) to the airport.
Got back safely, into my Camry (lol) and am trying to adjust to reality.

I had a winning streak a bit like that at Wynn last year - but managed to put it all back again. Good idea to go and spend some of it rather than put it back.

Also had trips where I haven't hit a single hand pay even when playing higher denoms for hours on end. Goes like that.

Congratulations on your winning trip! I love to here when a fellow slot player
kicks ass. Don't care too much for when a strict table player says they would never be caught playing slots, but posts and cries through another losing report.
Had a similar trip years ago and ended up winning six figures.
Nice to splurge a little on yourself after being ahead.

I posted a trip report from May with that kind of luck too.
Only difference was much smaller bets (no hand pays), but I know that feeling.
I bet this will be a trip you remember for a while. Many hours have been spent reflecting back on that run of luck wondering if it will ever cross my path again.
