I've been gambling since I was 18 (now 38) and sadly don't know the answer to this. We stay at ARIA most times and usually go to other lower limit places to play $5 3 Card, but noticed our last trip that the $15 minimum table limits mean you can still bet $5 up front and $10 in the middle (which is our common bet on the $5 tables) and meet that miminum? I has assumed all these years that each bet had to be $15 in this case. Is this common on 3 Card or was the pit boss feeling generous that day since no one was playing? I would rather play 3 Card where I stay but don't for this reason or so I thought. Thanks in advance.

on $15 minimum tables you can still bet only $5 on the Pairs Plus but have to bet at least $15 on the ANTE. So you would have to have at least $20 to see you hand and $35 to play.

i also thought that the minimum was the minimum bet on the ante, but don't know for sure.

He's right, anytime I've played the table minimum applied to both spots.

However, you are not required to play both the Ante/Play game and the PairPlus game, (though almost everyone does).

I would think most places with a $15 minimum mean $15 on each game.

Are you sure it wasn't just a player "grandfathered" at that table from an earlier time with a lower limit?

I've played at indian casinos where the did make you play both spots and I think some casinos in AC have that rule as well. But I've never seen it in LV.
