Uber from airport to Grand was quick and $2.90 because my daughter had a promo I sent her for $15 credit first ride. Check in for 2 rooms at the grand was quick. We hit Freemont and took in the sites. Got drinks and headed to Container Park. Well the won't let you enter with outside drinks so headed to ElCortez because everyone was hungry. I had a $15 Restaurant.com gift certificate for Pizza Lotto. Large pizza, pitcher of beer, pasta, meatballs, garlic knots, and 2 bottles of coke for $18. The food was amazing and my daughter kept asking all week if we could get that pizza again. Pizza took 25 minutes so while we were waiting mu husband took daughter and got her a players card and each got $10 freeplay. Daughter cashed out$16 and husband cashed out $99. When they came back to wait with underage son I went and got my $10 freeplayLVA book and cashed out $13. Back to Container Park for 4 bags of Jerky from JoJos store with a groupon. Played on the playground and looked at all the shops. My daughter got a kick out of the pizza/brownie store called Stoned and Baked. Wonder what they will be selling in a few months?? Left Container Park and watched Elvis singer on the Fremont Stret experience stage. Everyone was tired so headed back to the Grand. Son went up to bed. We got daughter signed up for players card and got free play loaded from LVA. Played around the slots and had a great waitress bringing us drinks. Daughter couldn't believe they were free besides tip. She was playing 2 cents at a time and getting drunk. The grand had a promo if you earned 500 credits you got a free box of Girl Scout cookies. We were playing for cookies. About 2am(4am) our time we headed to bed.

Up at 7 am and realized we forgot to pack 2 of our phone chargers. I went on Amazon prime now and ordered 2 apple chargers, Diet Mt. Dew, Doritos, case of water, 3 lbs of apples, and a bag of candy bars. I had a $10 off for first time order and they were delivering to the Downtown Grand at 10am. For $27 and a $5 tip I thought this was a good deal and so convenient. After the delivery we headed to Main Street Station for the buffet. We had BOGO from LVA advisor so for the 4 of us it was $18. After lunch the kids and hubby headed to ABC store for some rum and beer. I went to Binions to get tickets for Hypnosis Unleashed. Tickets didn't go on sale until 530pm so I sat at a 4 Wonder Tower machine. Kids and hubby called and said they were going back to the Grand to hit the pool. It was 85 degrees and sunny. I told them I would meet up with them latter. I played and played that 4 Wonder machine trying to hit the bounus. $400 later I finally got the tower bonus for a $286 win. Not that great since I was betting $5.60. Cashed out and scanned my card to get my 3 spins. Won 2 gifts and $5 free play. The gifts were a metal candle thing and a plastic sewing kit. Headed back to the Grand to enjoy the weather and the pool with the family.

430 pm we headed to our rooms to get cleaned up and nap. Met up at 6 to get dinner and go to Hypnosis Unleashed. We went to Golden Nugget and used LVA BOGO so 4 of us ate for $42. Pretty basic nothing spectacular, but everyone found something and we didn't overeat. We headed to Hypnosis Unleashed and my daughter tried to get hypnotized since my son did last year at Marc Savard. She didn't go under, but really enjoyed the show. It was hilarious and I wasn't sure how good it would be since the last 2 times I went to a hypnotist in Vegas I knew people getting hypnotized. Used LVA and BOGO so 4 tickets were $64. It was very entertaining and well worth the money. After my son wanted to walk to the big scale at Heart Attack Grill to see if he gained any weight from the night before. Monday night he was 129 and tonight he was 133. The buffets must be catching up with him.

We walked Fremont and people watched. Started watching a band and it was really good. Everyone was drinking dancing and having a good time. I took my daughter into 4 queens to get her $10 freeplay from LVA and get her signed up, but players card desk was closed. We sat a machine close to the bar in hopes of seeing a waitress. Each put $20 in and I cashed out $166 and she cashed out $14 and felt bad about losing $6. No waitress so joined hubby and son just as band was playing the last song. Headed back to Grand and called it a night. I didn't even gamble on Tuesday at the Grand and I was staying 2 nights comped. So not a huge gambling trip for me. So far.

Wednesday Check out day of the Grand and Moving to the Strip

I slept in until 8am. We had to check out at 1100 and then move to the Mirage for the rest of our trip. I got up and got ready and packed my stuff up. Hubby wanted to workout and shower so I told him I wanted to see if I could get 500 points and get a box of Girl Scout cookies. He laughed and said it will be the most expensive box ever and shook his head. I was on my own to the casino and wanted to give the Grand some play. The first machine I sat at was Invaders from the Planet Moolah. It had the choice of 2 games and I picked the one with the blast bonus that I haven't played before. I put in a $20 and was betting $1.05 and nothing. I was getting frustrated and wanted to rack up some points fro those cookies so I put in a $100 and hit max bet for $3.50. Nothing. 2nd spin $3.50 won and won again and won again. As long as it wins 4 times in a row you get free spins starting at 7 free spins and then it goes up from there. I ended up with 400 FREE SPINS at max bet!! It was 1034 am and I knew it would take me awhile so I texted the family and told them they needed pack up and check out of the rooms and then come down and watch me win!! For some reason my husband didn't get the text and was mad that I wasn't returning to get things ready to go. A very nice couple from Kansas City sat with me win 400 free spins and sat for 45 minutes and watched my play. I ended up getting 592 free spins and a handpay of $2488!!! First ever hand pay in Vegas!! I had read on here about tipping the slot attendants that pay so I tipped each $20. They didn't seem thrilled. The couple from Kansas City were so nice I wished I would have thought to do something for them. So my family finally came down as I was getting paid and my husband understood what was taking me so long. I marched up to the players club to get those free cookies that started all this and they told me I was 16 points short. So no cookies and not very many points for future offers, but leaving with $2488!!! Next the Strip

Got to the Mirage at noon and did mobile check in for both our rooms. My husband and I each used 2 night MyVegas free room. Still had to pay $73 for each room for resort fees and room taxes, but without the MyVegas it would have been $700. We noticed that the bars had 2 for 1 until 3 so my daughter and hubby hit the bars and my son and I went to the room to get settled in and recharge the phones. My daughter had a 340 appointement at the Apple store in Ceasars Forum shops to replace her battery. Met up with family to got to forum shops and my hubby and daughter said they were pretty drunk.

We got to the Apple store and were told they needed an hour to work on the phone. We found Fat Tuesday and ordered drinks and hubby and daughter thought it was a good idea to get extra shots. So sat and drank for an hour and headed back to Apple. Got her phone and we were off. Suddenly noticed her camera on the phone was not working. Back to apple. After testing they decided it would be best to give her a new phone.

So now off to the strip to wonder and see sights. I love the Aloha drink place at Ballys Grand Bazzar shops and they were handing out 2for1 coupons. I ordered 4 drinks and gave one to hubby and daughter and I drank 2 of them. Went into Ballys to check on tickets for Real Bodies and effile tower experience that I bought on Living Social. Daughter started to fade and said she wanted to lay down. I knew this was a bad sign. Went to Ballys food court to find her something to eat and sober her up. Not good we got there and she laid down in a booth and didn't want to move. Hubby came and saw her laying down and said she need to sit up. Well once she sat up she said she needed to be sick. Hubby went and got garbage bags from a gift shop. We picked her up and tried to figure out what to do.

We were close to the Monorail and decided to get on and see if she could make it to MGM. Once we got to MGM we found the Reviv place that does IV infusions to cure hangovers. They hooked her up with a bag a saline, B12,vitaminC, Zinc, decadran, and Zofran. Within 20 minutes she said she felt great. They IV took 40 minutes to run and she could have gotten a second bag, but she said she felt great and was hungry. While we did this my hubby and son looked at some sport stores in MGM. We got a pretzel and headed to the Monorail. Rode to the Linq and walked around. The kids wanted IN&Out so we waited in line that was crazy out the door. We found a table outside and ate and people watched.

Went down to Carnival Court and watched the band for a little while. Headed back to Mirage and son and hubby headed to bed around midnight. Daughter and I went to the casino and a waitress came around and both ordered drinks. Since I hadn't gambled since winning $2488 I wanted to play $1 slots. My daughter thought this was crazy and I had to force her to try with the $100 I put in her machine. She said she would rather go to the mall and buy something. We were playing a wheel of fortune $5 a spin and hoping we hit something so I could show her how fun it could be. Nope just losing and she didn't become a gambler. At 2 am daughter said she couldn't stay awake any longer so we headed up to the room.
    Up next pool day..

Thursday morning woke up and headed down to Mlife desk to cash in some MyVegas rewards. We each had a $25 freeplay, lunch buffets, and 2 tickets to the Secret Garden. We found some slots and had a great waitress that was around every 10 minutes. I tried some Buffalo and my hubby played Firehouse Hounds. Played freeplay and each had 3 drinks. Kids called and said they were hungry so we went to Cravings. I had BOGO from LVA and hubby and I had our free MyVegas buffets so lunch cost $31 for 4 of us and included beer and wine.

After lunch we headed to see the Dolphins and Tigers. We had been a few times before and it was the least busy that I had seen it. We almost had the place to ourselves. We went through pretty quick because everyone wanted to get to the pool. Once we got to the pool saw signs that it was closing at 4 for a private event. All of the chairs were full(or had towels on them) so we sat at the edge of the pool and enjoyed the warm weather.

Son and hubby headed across the street to Linq to see the car museum. I had a BOGO coupon. They said it was worth it for $13. Daughter and I headed for Ballys and went to Real Bodies. I have been before, but my daughter is taking an Anatomy class at college so she was really interested in going. After we went to the casino and played a Dolly slot. Didn't hit anything big,but got served drinks and cashed out even. Met hubby and son and walked to Paris.

At Paris we did the Eiffle tower experience. It was pretty and we stayed to watch a Bellagio show. After that we went to Hexx to do a free chocolate tasting. Hubby and I each had MyVegas rewards for a free candy bar. I am a huge chocolate lover, but I really didn't like any of the samples. I think we tried 8 different kinds. My stomach was not happy and I started not feeling well. I had been off sugar for 10 weeks before the trip so I think I overdid it.

The kids were hungry so I told them to pick were they wanted to eat and I would just go along. They picked TacoBell Cantina. It is a Taco Bell on the corner at Planet Hollywood that serves slushed with Rum, Vodka or Tequila. Daughter was thrilled that she could get a Baja Blast slush with Rum. Hubby got a Cherry slush with Vodka. The 3 of them got food and it was $47. Our most expensive meal was at Taco Bell. For dessert they wanted Krispy Creame so we headed in Planet Hollywood and they each got 2 doughnuts.

    Thursday night
Went into Planet Hollywood and played Elvira while the family walked around Miracle mile mall. Got my 25 points and cashed out 80 cents ahead. played a few of the bonuses and had fun. Met up with hubby and kids.
Finished up the night walking the Strip. We were at Linq promenade and my son wanted to get a cupcake from Sprinkles. He did the cupcake ATM. We went into Flamingo and went into the habitat to see the flamingos. Everyone was sad trip was ending.
Walked toward Mirage and hubby said he wanted to go in Casino Royale(he loves that place) He got a chili dog and I decided I was hungry and got a plain hot dog. Kids went next door to McDonalds and hubby and I got a $1 beer and gambled. My dad had given me $20 to play video poker for him so I picked a 100 play machine. Played for awhile only got up to $26 and then slowly lost it all. I put a $100 in a monopoly machine and it quickly disappeared. Met up with the kids at McDonalds and headed back to Mirage. I thought about gambling more, but I was just too tired. Bed and then up to Uber to airport. Uber was free since I had a $15 credit for referring my daughter. We had a great driver and I tipped him $10. Came home with twice the money that I took and now searching airline prices for my next trip. Thanks for reading...
