Hello all! First time trip report here, I have really enjoyed reading all the reports over the past few months so I decided I better start contributing. This is my first trip in 2020, I have had many trips canceled this year including a March Madness and NFR trip so needless to say I was very excited when the stars aligned to make this trip happen and my amazing wife was kind enough to let me go while she watches our two year old and 11 month old alone. She is truly a saint! Flying Delta out of MSP at 11am today landing in Las Vegas just after noon. Impressed that Delta is still blocking the middle seats. This will be more first flight since March so I am very excited to get back in the air again. My casino time will be spent on mostly slots, craps & faceup pai gow with a healthy dose of football bets mixed in. Budget for the trip is $5,000. First stop will be Caesars to check in for a 2 night offer. Dinner will be at Old Homestead to use of f&b credit. After dinner I will either stay at Ceasars or head downtime and take advantage of the worlds earliest check-in Circa since I have a reservation for the 28th. I need to give them a call and see how late you can check in today, I know they are starting check in at 3pm but not sure if there is someone at the front desk all night. Planning on spending Sunday downtown watching football and gambling at Circa. I don't have anything planned for dinner so let me know if you have any suggestions. Monday I will be moving back to the strip for a one night comp at Luxor to give mlife some play this year and to get some more f&b credit and freeplay. Not sure if I will stay in the room or not. Alright time to get packed and head to the airport. I will try to keep this as live and minimally filled with typos as possible!
Was running a bit late to the airport but made it just in time to walk on the plane. Wheels up in about 15 minutes.
That is an interesting group of places to stay. I like your style. Hopefully luck is in your favor. i lm curious how busy things are now compared to next weekend. Early Dec was pretty dead.
Touchdown to Caesars in 40 minutes. Quick stop at the arrivals liquor store. Airport was quite but not dead, 4 minute wait for a Lyft. Crossing my fingers for an early check-in.
No line at diamond check in although it is busier than I thought might be. A queen Octavius was ready so I took that.
Face up Pai Gow, in for $300 out for ... after 5 hands and a straight flush. I also had a $5 tip for the dealer on the 50 to 1 bonus!
I would definitely say it isn't slow at Caesars, long line for hotel check-in. Just put in a couple bets for the raiders game tonight.
You left your wife solo w.2 little ones? you better bring her back some serious big bucks lol. Stay healthy and safe out there and have a great time.
My reservation at Old Holmstead was at 7:30 so I went up to the room around 5:30 to get ready. After showering I sat down on the bed to watch football and before I know it my wife woke me up with a text at 8pm, oops. I made it down just in time to see the Dolphins kick the last second field goal to put the game over making both my bets loosers, nothing an old fashioned can't fix though!
Calling it a night, around 1,000 tier credits total for the day. Slots were rough with no bonuses over $60 but all in all a great first day ending about $200 in the red overall. Old Holmstead was very good, Ihad the ribeye cap steak, fries and a wedge salad. Looking forward to moving to Circa tomorrow morning. Also I just wanted to say thanks for all the replies
Good morning all looks like I am staying on central time, wide awake at 4:30 so what else to do but hit the casino which turned out to be a great choice! A quick stop in the high limit slots for $5 single line WOF. In for $300 out for $1,200. Moving time to Circa now.
