OH MY!! We loved the Victoria Room......we are early birds and would go for the breakfast special. Lots of great people watching, lots of characters from the "night before". The T-Bone steak special and the Chinese food............yum!! We ate many a meal there.......thanks for the memory. :)

Oh My Gosh - I had forgotten that great Chinese Food. We ate many T-bone or Prime-Rib specials there - but
I loved that $ 10.00 special they had on that fantastic Chinese Food. Huge platters - just right to share with the table.

You are right - great memories - a little sad it is all over - but great memories.

Sorry - didn't mean to derail the post - got carried away with the memories.

They are great memories.......listening for your name to be called and worried that you may miss getting your spot as you wait for your machine to spit out $20.00 worth of nickels!

Another one who loved the Victorian room, either for drunk noshing at 2 AM or early morning breakfast complete with watching the drunks stumbling out of Drai's. We did the Chinese food a couple times and it was good, but my favorite was the late night special of 2 eggs with bacon, hashbrowns and toast for some awesomely low price. I can still picture the red "leather" booths, and I think they gave free mini muffins in the AM while you waited for your food. That place either prevented or cured a whole lot of hangovers for me over the years. I love the Cromwell but sure do miss the VR. :(

I went to American Cafe at Caesars a month ago at 10:45PM. They told me they just stopped serving food that night. Oh well, it was better off for me. I didn't need to eat anyway. And I saved a few bucks. Maybe they had a shortage of staff that night.
