Sorry about the kittens, but so happy the Momma is fine. Your niece is gorgeous. Truly enjoyed your trip report. Was hoping to pass you in the airport leaving on the 28th, but I left on a 7:10a flight.

Your niece is soooo cute! :)

So sorry to hear about the kittens... :( Glad your momma kitty is doing well though, that is good to hear. <3

Looking forward to your wrap-up - and hey, if it's freezing, better weather to get kitty cuddles? :)

    Hotels

CP - The room was lovely and the pools were nice. I was however a little annoyed that they dont offer any umbrellas for shade, even with the daybeds, you have to rent a cabana for shade. Cant help comparing this to the Mirage Oasis we stayed last year which had umbrellas and was cheaper. Also the atmosphere, I dunno, it wasn't bad but I wouldnt rush to stay there again and I wouldnt pay full price.

Cosmo - Ok apart from the incident with the meds I really do have a problem faulting this place. The room was outstanding, the casino and food options were fab and location and layout were awesome. We didnt try the pool.

GN - My first stay downtown!! Would I stay again? Yes, but likely only on another comp. There was an obvious difference in service. The bellman was not waiting for us outside we had to drag out 5 bags in, then down steps (infront if the bell desk) with no offer of help. The room was fine, the bathroom pretty terrible. We were in the gold tower. We could hear the freemont noise but it wasnt bad. However I still love dowtown, food and gambling and prices are awesome.

Linq - We only stayed here for the convention but its not a bad choice. Rooms are decent and have a fridge. I do miss the bath tub. Location is awesome. Casino is ok. Not the top of my list but its a fun place.

PH - I dont know if its because its the first place we ever stayed in Vegas or not but I cant help love it. The rooms are amazing, the service is great and location and food options are good. Will deffo be back (for Strip House alone!!)

Ballys - Pleasently surprised! I know we had a bomb room upgrade but love love love the room. The casino was fun. Late night food isnt available in hotel which was my only gripe but I would stay again.

    Food

Favorite meals - Strip House, Gyu-kaku Japanese bbq, Wicked Spoon Buffet, Brunch at Buddy Vs, The Henry and In N Out (as usual haha)

    What would I do differently?

I would hire a car for longer - I loved our exploring days so next time would like to do 4-7 day hire instead of a couple.

I was worried about hopping hotels so many times but it really was easy. I would however try for atleast 3 nights in each minimum instead of 2 so I get more time to explore.

Dont buy booze on the way out. We moved 3 ltrs of booze with us we hardly touched, we get enough in the casino lol.

Book a few more comps under +1. I had much more back end comps inc resort fees as I wasnt "paying" for the room comp in my name first.

    Finally....Keep drugs in the safe...

    Finances

My coin in was about 50k for the trip. I'm not a high roller at all. I hit about 7000 tier score with Total Rewards and Platinum. I also hit Sterling with Identity.

Winnings? None lol. I didn't come home with anything noteable but I had a few wins! This went towards spending money and donated back into tge casino haha. But thats ok, thats what I budget for :)

So overall I had 19 out of 20 nights comped.
The resort fees I thought I would pay at GN, Cosmo and PH (as in +1s name) were given back to me.
The whole bill at cosmo which included suite upgrade fee, food charged to the room etc was refunded.
PH comped me over $200 in back end.
Ballys comped me over $60 in back end.

All in all, we have had an epic trip. I really hope we can get to go again for the same duration ( I think more than 3 weeks will be too much!) I'm also looking forward to seeing what my comp offers will be after this trip!!!

I have lots and lots of photos i didnt post....I may do a photo dump.

Please let me know if you have any questions :D

Thanks again so much for following!!!

Great trip, you and +1 had a great time, it seems. The longest I ever stayed in Vegas was 11 days, at one place, Bellagio, and even room service was surprised. You show how 21 days can be a lot of fun. Thanks for the report.
