Donny Osmond has announced that the Donny & Marie show at the Flamingo will close at the end of 2019. They've had quite a run. So, if you have been putting off seeing this show, better start making some plans for 2019.

They should have been Bransonized long ago. Looking forward to something at least mildly up to date and relevant.

I had to drag Tony here kicking and screaming in protest. He ended up really enjoying the show. We might have to go back before they hang up their dancing shoes. (Just kidding, he will probably complain again.)

The wife whined me into getting tickets. A year and a half ago. It was a pretty good show. I was glad I went.

    I enjoyed their show.

Considering going back in May. I already decided to see Celine after I saw how my wife reacted when two of our family decided to go in January.

The problem is that she will be disappointed if Donny does not touch her hand again... She grew up with posters of him on her wall. Anyway, the nights might not work with vacation schedules and other events...

I've went three times, Donny didn't show up two out of those three times. This year I got tickets for my brother and I because Donny didn't show the last time we went and they cancelled the show altogether. I have to say I enjoyed the show. I also got tickets in Atlantic City and again Donny didn't show.

I thought the D & M show was fantastic. Solid, fun entertainment! Good singing, dancing and comedy! Both D & M were great.
I saw the show in 2009. I can't believe it was that long ago. Boy, does time fly!

Saw the show about five years ago and was way beyond impressed. My wife wanted to see them and I relented!!
I tell you what you will not see a better production on any level. Live band, both of them still have great voices and since both of them started in the business before the age of 10 they have seen everyone in the entertainment business for the past
50 years. There's a clip of them introducing 10 yo Michael Jackson on their TV show, John Wayne, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, presidents Nixon, Ford the list goes on and on. These two have been a part of the Hollywood and the music scene since the early sixties. I'm 62 and as a "Dead Head" I might not admit in public (oops I just did) that I would I will probably see them again before they stop. :drunk:

My wife and I also also enjoyed the show. We'll also have to book the show one more time. Thanks for the heads up, seneca.

Donny and Marie, and the Flamingo made it official this morning. Their long-running residency is coming to an end. Final show is November 16th. Show opened in September 2008. If you want to see them, don't put it off. Clock is ticking.

My thought exactly! The strip view sure will be nicer without the sign. Hopefully they don't put up a full building advertisement for the next act.
