2 Weeks No Sweat - Jan 20 to Feb 4 - Luxor, Cosmo, Planet Hollywood

Leaving tomorrow on the JetBlue morning non-stop. The No Sweat really refers to the weather - no issues this year.

This will be a fairly typical trip with a couple of extra events thrown in.
  • 2 nights at Luxor in a Tower Premier Suite with $175 Freeplay and $250 Resort Credit.
  • 6 nights at Cosmo, two Gold tier nights in a Terrace Studio, then four nights in a Terrace Suite (paying a total of $610 in upgrade fees), with $475 in Freeplay and $100 Resort Credit. No idea where the $475 came from, I had an offer for $330 that expired 2 days before arrival and I was going to ask them to extend it; glad I waited.
  • 7 nights at Planet Hollywood, hopefully in an Ultra Hip room (I had booked a Hip Strip View but then called to add a night and now there's three different room types listed on my reservation depending on where I look at it), with $100 Freeplay and $50 Resort Credit.
Highlights should be:
  • M & G and HL Slot Pull at Luxor on Saturday night, currently with an expected pool of $2,000
  • The conference championship games on Sunday
  • Momofuku is open at Cosmo and seems to be running pretty smoothly, so I may try that if it's not a mob scene at all times
  • CET casino hop after I'm checked in at PHo, to get the bonus tier credits
  • First time at both Luxor and PHo
  • Some show TBD
Average bankroll for the trip; I'll probably underplay Luxor just because I'm not that concerned about MGM offers going forward. That prediction will probably also go right out the window after I have a couple of shots. It usually does.

This TR should be a little more enhanced than prior ones because I made my company buy me an iPhone, although I've barely looked at it yet. But there should be more and better pics.

Good Luck. Look forward to following along. You should post a pic of yourself when you arrive and one when you are ready to leave two weeks later. If I went to Vegas for two weeks, those pics would look worse than the before/after pics on the Faces of Meth webpage.

Best of luck. I had 6 nights recently, I was spent but I bet you take it slow, something I just cannot do in Vegas.

Two weeks is a long time in Vegas. I'm not sure I could do it. 8 nights is my record so far and I was practically dead at the end. My poor liver.

Yeah, I almost look at it as 3 separate trips. I go hard for a couple of days and ease off, then move and do it again.

But I'll admit there's been a couple of 2 week trips where I spent the last 3 days just pounding food and fluids hoping I'd be OK to fly home.

I've been out there for a couple of Superbowls - everybody should do it at least once. But I actually like the championship weekend better,not as much of a zoo.

It does suck going to bed early on the Friday night of Superbowl weekend though in order to make an early Saturday flight. I'd come home Friday, but I always end up being glad I had that extra day to recuperate.
 
Great plans and I love long trips! Subscribed! Here's to some discipline (I know it is hard for the longer trips), to winning big, bringing some of it home and having a great time!!!!!

Have an absolute BLAST Chuck, I am hoping this is one of your best trips EVER.

I am also grinning about the "I will probably low play luxor....until I get a few shots in me." Im a 8-11 day trip person as well. In the past, I always booked ONE hotel I was less protective of (MC, etc), think I'll "take it a little easier there on play."

Nope. Never happens. Glad I'm not the only one who hasn't mastered light play. :D

P.S. If you remember at Cosmo, and it sounds good to you, have a Golden Pineapple drink for me! It's absolutely on my "must-do" list next trip thanks to your tip.
