After reading this thread, I'm a little confused about why my opinion was pulled, I professed my grief over the senseless loss of life, in two great countries, as well as saying the that the gun debate will rage? If that gets me ousted from what I considered a forum , so be it.
Please look out over our hero's

Hero's? There are no hero's in this situation, there are crazies and there are victims, as far as I know no one was a hero, I did hear an early report about an armed civilian confronting those nuts, but never heard another word about it, they would qualify if they existed.

The man that was shot in the Wal Mart was an armed civilian, he pulled his weapon and confronted Jared Miller but he didn't realize Amanda Miller was with Jared and she had already gone past him, she pulled a .38 out of her purse and shot him in the side or back.
Apparently their neighbors seen them loading their gear into a shopping cart and told them that they had to go "underground". They then pushed their shopping cart 4 miles to where the shooting was. Neighbors are wishing now that they'd called the cops.

Being so exceptional is being perfect. Nobody say we are perfect.

If you have friends or family that post about taking down the government or attacking the police, please let the authorities know about it, especially if they talk about taking action Most of these type of incidents have months or years of serious warning signs before the metal illness takes control and they hurt innocent people. If just one person didn't look the other way when they saw the warning signs these police officers would still be alive today.

I was there this week, and saw a bunch of LVMPD officers on the bridge from Wynn to Palazzo. I had to stop them to express my condolences over their colleagues. They were very appreciative and kind.

Seeing as we can't keep politics and the government out of this thread. It's time to shut it down.
