- Trips to Las Vegas

Hi Everyone,
Pre-TR post here to start off. This will be my second trip report, the first being last September when the Life Is Beautiful Festival was going on. I've actually gone on a couple of trips since but this one should allow me to update this thread as I have more down time and less set plans (but more gambling!).
The planning of this trip was fairly simple. Usually this time of year is all quiet on the Vegas front until around May but my buddy told me he had booked Aria for the weekend and was going along with some others. Same day we're having that conversation I get an offer from Aria. I did play a small amount there in December so most likely a teaser but MGM Grand is usually the base of operations for me and I don't have any plans to move soon so might as well take them up on the offer. Quick check of flights resulted in $92 RT booked and the comp at Aria soon after. I'll be in early on the 24th with the flight out in the evening on the 25th for a roughly 36 hour trip due to other obligations on the 26th.
The others won't be in 'til the night of the 25th so it'll be roughly half the time solo for me (taking into account sleeping--though I wouldn't put it past myself staying up til 6AM and paying for it the next night).
Since I'm not worried about play at Aria (definitely a low roller) I'm going to spend a good chunk of my Friday downtown before check-in using LVA Coupons/Match Plays. After check-in I might get some play in at PH across the street, have not yet done a significant session at a CET property. I play mainly VP and Blackjack (and Free Bet Downtown if it's still 3:2) with the occasional UTH. Saturday is setting up for some TopGolf in the morning before Aria Buffet then messing around at the tables at Aria before saying my goodbyes.
I also dabble in betting on Pro Basketball, this weekend should be interesting with the moves made at the deadline.
Any tips on VP downtown? Didn't get to hit many spots last September (crazy NFL + Festival Sunday) but I did enjoy the 4Q. I have seen Tringlomane's thread but personal anecdotes are always welcome!
I'll try to get as many pictures in as I can, new phone since last time so it should be much easier. Looking forward to it!
