2/18 to 2/24 Bellagio Live Trip Report

I will be in Vegas from Saturday the 18 th to Friday the 24, staying at Bellagio. I am here for a conference Monday through Wednesday with an extra day at the end. I was able to get Saturday comped and a little free play ($75) and resort credit ($50).

I like playing poker tournaments, but will need to fit that in at night where possible. I will also play some blackjack and slots. I try to keep my trip reports as “live” as possible with lots of photos. Being inspired by Matt Bridgers (mattjb) reports, I am going to try and insert some videos this time. All photos and videos will be done with my iPhone 7 Plus.

I am renting a car but unfortunately, it is prepaid so I need to stop at the counter rather than going right to the garage. I just hope the lines aren’t long.

As is my tradition, the first thing I will do is drive out to John Mull’s Road Kill Grill for BBQ. I arrive around 10:45AM so I will get lunch and then go check in at Bellagio.

The first non win of the trip is that I wasn’t upgraded. I am number 4 of 7 on the upgrade standby list.

I decided to check a bag this time, because it was tough fitting all my stuff in my carryon last year for this length of trip and needing work and non work clothes.

Couldn't sleep as usual before a Vegas trip so I have another half hour till I leave for the airport.

Got my bag. Waiting for the rental car shuttle. Depending on how long this takes and then the counter at Alamo I may head to belagio first.

This is my ride. There was no line at Alamo but the lady told me I didn't have to go to the counter cause I am an insider. They need to update their email confirmations and website

Wtf is this? It won't go faster than 65? Key thing active? I'm confused. You can obviously get by with a 65 MPH max car, but I hate when a majority of interstate traffic is passing me.
 
There is something called a MYKey where they have a governor and it is set at 65. Every time I hit 50 this comes on and chimes and then says top speed when I hit 65. I can get by but it sucks

Made it to John Mulls. 95N exit from 15N was closed so had to use google.

Been here at least 10 times and this is the first time there was no line and it is right at lunch time.

Bellagio check in is crazy. Luckily Gold/platinum only has 2 people in it. They have also added the credit card to the sign

There is also a separate mobile check in line that is shorter than regular checkin
