    My Trip Report

Sitting at the bar in Philly International now catching the Phils as I was to board my 7PM flight. I’ll be arriving in Las Vegas 10:30PM local time and catching an Uber straight to the Plaza as I’m spending the first night downtown. What I’ll do then I have no idea. Video poker at the bar is a strong possibility as is taking a stroll down Fremont seeing where the night takes me. Plan in the AM is to sit myself at a bar somewhere downtown most likely to play VP and watch the Phillies 10AM game. What o love about Vegas is that I get sports action from morning until night—something I don’t get on the east coast. From there I’m heading to Planet Hollywood where I’ll be staying until Friday morning when my buddies arrive and I head to Venetian. What will happen in between? Probably lots of poker, video poker, Black, craps, and who knows what else. I’ll do my best to update live ish and add pictures. Hope you enjoy following along!

Plaza-PH-Venetian. That's working your way up the ladder. Have a great time. I fly out of PHL this time next week.

Alright folks sorry for the lack of updates. Photos will be posted later.

Flight landed an hour early last night. WIN!

Got to Plaz, checked in, super gave me a handful of drink tickets for the eagles hoodie, and then washed off in the room. Room is serviceable. Not nice not horrible. It’s what I expected and needed. Took a walk to FSE but I was too beat to deal with the crowds. Headed back to Plaza played VP for an hour. Not a single quad after being dealt trips 10 times. Headed to the craps table after losing 100 just in time for the nice English girl to have a 45 minute 5 point roll to turn my 100 into 400. By the way I didn’t get his name but this one craps dealer at Plaza is the best I’ve seen. CLASSIC Vegas movie dealer. Slicked back hair, beer belly, loud, funny, calling everything,!-‘d keeping the dice moving. Absolutely LOVED it when he was on the stick. Headed to bed around 3AM woke up around 8. Grabbed a coffee at the cafe downstairs. Don’t recommend their coffee though I am a bit of a coffee snob. Took a stroll through MSS for the first time. Stuck 100 in the dollar DDBP chasing the 6k royal progressive and hit quad 4s for 400 on my tenth hand. Played it down to 400 and now I’m at Chicago brewing catching the Phils. More to come!

Finally got around to uploading some pictures. Used my $10 matchplay at Plaza on craps. Bought it for 100 and cashed out for 300 30 minutes later. Uber'd to PH used the $20 trick and got upgraded from the based room to the 28th floor in the north tower with a fountain view. No complaints here!

Picked up 18 Budweisers for $20 at the ABC stores in MM shops. Drinking one while unpacking now and I'm gonna relax a bit while I decide what to do tonight.

Currently at Ellis Island playing deuces wild enjoying their microbrews. Tried the IPA and Amber. The Amber is damn smooth

I’m taking a liking for these off strip/downtown joints. Love the better gambling odds but the strip has far better dining in my opinion

upload_2019-4-15_13-52-55.jpeg Verbena is BY FAR the most unique drink I’ve ever had. Not necessarily my favorite though certainly worth the experience

Since you’re at the Chandelier bar I may as well ask the question: I know the drinks tickets are worth $15 each and the cocktail menu starts at $16. However, I assume you can still get less extravagant cocktails (e.g. a margarita or mojito) for the “cost” of one $15 ticket as opposed to two?

Not to hijack the thread but yes, regular cocktails like Rum and Coke or Bourbon Sours are worth 1 ticket. You can pay 2 tickets to get their signature cocktails and even more tickets to get certain Whisky's comped.

    Great TR so far

Cocktails are now $17+ a piece. Drink tickets are worth $15. The first drink is comped (not a menu drink. You can get an old fashioned for aexpaled) as long as you bet $1.

Well, my Mets tried to hand you guys the game on numerous occasions, but the Phillies refused to take it. Good luck the rest of the way!!
